"We cheered on Earth with the substance of a bitter beginning for being alive yet now we're cheering with death for being erased, forever."
3rd Person POV: Seoul South Korea
Stacks of queries stumbled upon Yuju's head when she made her way through the narrow corridors of the hospital, she felt bewildered. Strolling along, her pupils raced around attempting to find Dr Kim Taehyung's office; to her surprise, he was the head of the Neurology department.
The scent of medicines and agonising screams complimented the atmosphere of the building, it felt like hell.
Even so, the main target was to prevent those who've been through a revolting experience which caused them moribound, from entering hell; indeed it was baffling considering some of them ended up here due to their sins.
Uneasily, Yuju wandered, trapped in the collosal walls. White was engraved everywhere, it was an imagery of purity but it didn't make Yuju any better knowing that the only other color that could mingle with the ashen, white setting would be tenebrous shades of red flowing out from a deceased body.
Muttering drafted phrases in her head so she wouldn't make a fool out of herself infront of him, she reluctantly knocked on the door of his office. Her hair tied up in two childish pony tails, with a simple shirt and skirt: presumably not an appropriate choice of clothing for an unexpected job interview.
"So you actually came!" Taehyung yelled surprised, his unique smile aroused.
To a matter of fact, Yuju was shook by Taehyung's warm welcome, instead of a cold atmosphere she was engaged with a happy man.
"Of course I did." She exclaimed.
"Anyways, did you really have to fool me like that? You could've just said it infront of my face rather than writing scary monologues on a paper with red ink! I swear I thought she died or something!" Ranting out her displeasure, Taehyung could only chuckle.
"But it was the only way to convince you to work here! I know I should've not, well, uh, kind of have done that but it was the only way to get you to work here as a doctor." He explained, he could only depend on Yuju's gullibility to fall for his reasons.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah so you're saying: please help Yuju, you are the only hope left, Youra may die and it'll all be our fault we need you. Is a good way to do that." Wrapping her arms together as she tried to imitate the man's deep voice when she quoted his words.
"Okay, maybe a little overboard..." He scratched the nape of his neck in embarrassment.
"Besides, why did you even offer me a job as a neurologist? I don't know anything about it and you want me to help you with Youra." She sighed, thinking of her friend who's been injured in a comatose for years, sitting on Taehyung's desk while rocking backwards and forwards.
