Leap 1: Ten Years in the Past

"I don't want to!" A girl exclaims to her father. He is currently driving to their new apartment.

The male adult frowns at his daughter, "Chiaki, You have not seen your mother and your brother in three years. "

The girl smiles in a snarky manner, "There's a reason for it. It's not my fault the wrong type of people keep being attracted to him and his ugly updo. The last time we saw him, he got beat up real bad. His eye was bandaged up!"

"I'll agree about his sense of style being shit, but that does not mean we love him any less. Besides, nobody will know you guys are actually siblings. You have different last names. As much as I wish we all shared the same name, I know it was to protect you. Look, we are here now!"

Chiaki laughs at her dad insulting her brother's sense of style. The two look up at the new apartment.

"Huh... Things are different now." Chiaki mumbles.

It's been three years since that day since the original Chiaki died. She looks up into the sky reminiscing about that day.

The original Chiaki use to be a sickly child. she was always in bed and could not go to school often. It was a burden sometimes and one day the burden stopped.

Three years ago, Chiaki had a fever that led to pneumonia. Eventually, her body could not take it and she flatlined at the hospital.

However, five minutes later, she woke up again but as a different person.

"Hello? Anyone in there?" Her father waves his hand in front of her face and snaps her out of her daydream.

She looks at him, "Sorry, I was just remembering when I got better."

He smiles at his daughter and pats her on the head, "Yeah. That was one of the best days in our lives. Now, let's go. We do not want to keep your mother and brother waiting."

The pair walks up to the second floor and knocks on the door. An older woman resembling the young girl smiles in excitement. She grabs the pair and embraces them in a big hug. I missed you guys so much. It has been a few years since we can live with each other. She sheds a few tears in happiness.

"Well come in you two. Oh, Chifuyu is at school right now. Probably hanging out with his friends or reading shoujo manga at school. Why don't you go visit him, Aki?"

The girl wanted to let her parents have some alone time since it has been years since they lived together. It must have been heartbreaking for them to live apart.

"Okay. I will go surprise him." Chiaki takes a scenic route and reaches the high school she will be going to with her brother.

She peeks at each classroom looking for a blonde hair boy. Then she sees a blonde-haired boy running towards a particular classroom screaming a familiar name.

"CHIFUYU!" He slams the door open in a hurry. He slowly walks in a daze seeing his partner who has grown slightly older. Standing next to him is another boy slightly older than he remembers. His hair that was a little bit past his shoulders is now sprawled closer to his chest. The boy moved on from his nerdy cosplay, realizing that looking the part of a geek does not make someone smart.

"Baji? you're here too?" The boy is shocked to see him. After so many years, Takemichi still has no idea about the masked figure's identity and why they saved Baji during Bloody Halloween. The figure was not part of the timeline before time leaped to save Baji.

Chifuyu looks at Takemichi confused, "Oh? Hey Takemichi, What's up?"

Takemichi just stares at the pair with tears forming in his eyes. "C-Chifuyu. I shook hand with Mikey from the future..."

Chifuyu opens his eyes in shock, "No way... You're the Takemichy from the future!?"

As uncontrollable tears stroll down his cheeks, Takemichi smiles, "And here I am!"

Baji looks between the pair of blondes in confusion, "Hate to break the lovers' reunion, but what the hell is going on?"

The two blondes look toward the long-haired man, "Oh crap." Takemichi got caught up in the moment and did not realize he just let his secret slip to Baji.

Chifuyu sighs in nervousness and rubs the back of his neck, "H-here's the thing Baji. Takemichi is a time leaper. He came from the future to save Hina from dying in twelve years, and he eventually wanted a good future for all of us."

Baji stares at the two like they were crazy, "That's gotta be a fuckin' joke..." Then he contemplates by reviewing the past events that have happened, "But it makes sense why you were so desperate all the time. Saving Draken and the Valhalla incident, even Hakkai at Christmas."

Baji pats Takemichi in the back, "Thanks for being our crybaby hero." He smiles at the time leaper in thankfulness.

While this was happening, a girl similar to the first division's vice-captain sat in the hallway eavesdropping on the conversation knowing what the future holds for the group of delinquents.

However, to catch Takemichi up to speed, they called up the human encyclopedia. Chiaki smirks, "Yamagishi."

Knowing what will happen in the next few minutes, Chiaki decides to go to the bathroom. She did not need to hear the explanation of the three deities. She knows who they are.

As she comes back from the bathroom, she sees the door to the classroom slam open and a blonde figure running out in anticipation.

Chiaki laughs, "He is probably gonna apologize to Hina for ditching their wedding by dying."

Chiaki looks down in worry, "Now, how am I gonna save Draken-Kun."

As she tries to devise a plan, she did not notice she bumped into a certain long-haired man.

Surprised at the sudden confrontation Chiaki apologizes without seeing who the person is. Then, she walks away in the opposite direction of the male.

Baji turns to look at the girl walking past him after their little bump.

He frowns at the girl, "What did she mean 'save Draken?" He mutters.

He turns back and starts walking back home.

"Who are you?"
