Leap 8: It's Showtime!

Operation Dragon Savior (Name Pending)

Unsuspecting of the couple, A disguised Chifuyu sits at a distant table watching Takemichi as Senju leaves. 

'It's almost time.' He thinks as he recalls the events from the manga.

As if knowing he would get a phone call at that moment, the phone rings, "We are a go. Let's meet before the bathrooms."

Meanwhile, Chiaki tails the four men as she puts on a mask and raincoat to shield her from the rain. She ties up her hair so they wouldn't suspect her gender. The moment she sees Chifuyu, the four men recognize him.

"SHIT! THAT'S MATSUNO!" One yells.

The other one panics, "How did he know the plan!"

The frontman pulls out his gun, "It doesn't matter! I'll just have to shoot him down as well."

As if rage bubbles up inside Chiaki from that comment, She pounces.

"Not on my what, Bitchface!"

Baji's phone rings, "BAJI! They just entered the park!"

Baji nods even though she couldn't see him, "Got it! I'm on my way."

"All good?" Draken calls out to him.

Baji forces a smile, "yeah! Just Chiaki calling about Chifuyu! I swear, they are like an old married couple and I'm their therapist."

Draken chuckles at the sarcasm, "Well, I guess you're going then?"

"Yeah see ya-" before Baji could finish his sentence, Inupi plows into the bike shop out of breath.

"DRAKEN! I've got bad news."

The two men in the bike hop look at their friend, "Rokuhara Tandai is heading to Takemichi as we speak." 

The two men head over to the amusement park!

'Shit!' Baji curses in his mind. This is the worst-case scenario right now. He texts Chiaki that he is going to be held up with Draken.

Baji thinks about how can he stop them from going. Then an idea pops up.

"WAIT!" He yells and both boys look at him, "I heard that it's a decoy. Besides, isn't Senju Kawaragi with him? She is strong!"

Draken frowns, "How did you know Senju is a girl?"

Baji pales, "SHIT!"

Chiaki charges through the frontman at kicks him down. Chifuyu fights the other three as Chiaki digs into the man's pockets for the gun. Both the frontman and Chiaki struggle for the gun until...

BANG! The gun goes off and Chiaki staggers a little bit!

"AKI!" Chifuyu pales in worry as one of the other men takes this chance to punch him in the face.

Chiaki also takes this pause as a chance to kick the gun out of the man's hands and propels her foot to slide it towards Chifuyu.

"FUYU! Take the gun and run away. I got it from here! Get Senju and Takemichi away!" she yells as she keeps the four men busy.

"BUT-" Chifuyu protests.

"NOW!" Chiaki stands firmly. Chifuyu bites his lips in rejection and runs away.

At a distance, Takemichi witnesses the scene, "Chifuyu?" Senju runs towards Takemichi after hearing the gunshot and the other people inside start to evacuate in worry. 

Chifuyu sprints toward the two, "We need to go now!"

Senju and Takmichi look at the scene, "Isn't that ghost? why are you with him?"  Takemichi piles on the questions to Chifuyu.

Chifuyu drags the two along, "Now is not the time to explain. We need to go now!"

Chiaki sees Chifuyu had successfully pulled Takemichi and Senju away from the fray. 

"YOU MOTHERFUCKER!" Yells one man.

The other screams, "YOU SCREWED OUR PLAN UP!"

Chiaki grins in success, "That's the point!" She states obviously. However, the gunshot went through her left thigh and she was bleeding profusely.

'I don't know how long I can stand with this leg.'

The four men strut up to her until they were defeated in an instant.

"Don't you dare touch my hero!" Yells Baji.

She also sees a face she didn't want to see, "Looks like your luck ran out!" Draken yells as he beats the other two men.

All four men went down in an instant. Chiaki's eyes widen and then glares at Baji through her mask, "You idiot! I told you to not bring Draken here. That's the whole point of Operation: Dragon Savior!"

Draken snorts, "That's a lame name."

Chiaki deadpans, "Stop complaining about my naming sense! We got bigger fish to fry!"

Chiaki gets so stressed to the point of fainting. As she wobbles and closes her eyes, Baji catches her before she hits the ground.

He looks down, "Shit! Her leg!" 

"Chiaki whispers to him, "Remember... The three deities will arrive soon! Kanto Manji will win but try not the let Takemichi get beat up so bad, "she grins and she chuckles lowly. 

Baji panics, "This isn't the time to laugh! We need to get you to the hospital!"

The last thing Chiaki says is, "Don't let them know who I am. I don't think I can continue. "

July 15th, 2008- A week after the three Deities war

After a long week's rest, Chiaki wakes up and turns to see Baji sitting on her right.

As if hearing the girl stir Baji opened his eyes in relief. "Thank god! You're awake! You've been in a coma for a week now!"

"Did everything go as I predicted?" She says unsurprisingly.

Baji lowers his head, "Yeah... South is dead and Brahman has been disbanded." 

Chiaki raises his hand and pets Baji's head in comfort, "I'm assuming you brought me here. Thank you."

Baji blushes at the girl's touch, "No problem."

'What am I thinking! This is my best buds girl!' Baji wanders in his thoughts. 

Suddenly, the hospital doors slam open, "YOU'RE AWAKE!" Chifuyu runs to his twin and hugs her, "I was so worried! You lost a lot of blood!" he starts to tear up just thinking about it, "Never do that again please!"

Chiaki hugs her twin back and solemnly pats his back in comfort, "I'll try not to." She looks at the man behind her brother, "I guess I have a lot of explaining to do, huh?"

Draken looks at the girl, "Ya sure do! But it can wait. Still... I can't believe you are Ghost."

Chiaki contemplates her next move, "I guess it can wait. We got a month before the next event."

The three boys look at her confused and she grins, "I'm not gonna tell you what happens next." She acts dramatically, "But it's my worst nightmare! Those shirts! That name!" The boys start to freak out in anticipation of what will happen in the future!

"And it's all becomes of FUYU!" She laughs!

The boys are fed up with Chiaki

"This is serious!" Baji yells!
