08||Wicked as they come

Phoenix stood under the lamp post will his Leatherman jacket around her small body. She didn't want to the jacket but he had around wrapped it around her body before he walked to the truck. Phoenix let a small smile come onto the side of her lips. She stepped off the sidewalk of the ice cream shop walking towards the truck. The girl reached her hand up to touch the male's dark hair. Her fingers went finely through his hair. She felt her body get closer to his but she walked to the other side of the truck opening the door. "I don't want you to go out of your way just to drive me all the way back to campus." she said standing in the doorway of the passenger side looking at him.

Elijah looked at her for a moment then got into the car and started it "get in the car Phoenix." He said sitting in the drivers seat then turning his head to her "come on it'll be fun. Trust me I'll get you back to your dorm in no time." He said smiling softly and patting the passenger seat.

Phoenix chuckled softly shaking her head before getting in the car throwing the leatherman jacket into the back seat and closed the car door. She looked over at him "I didn't tell you my name . So do you know it?" Phoenix said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

Elijah pulled out of the driveway driving down the road to the college then looked over at her "It was on your ID and your ice cream cup." He said rubbing her cheek softly getting the raindrop off it and smiled softly. "Oh you can keep the jacket I have another one" He said pulling into the college parking lot turning off the car then looked at her again.

Phoenix smiled softly looking at him as he rubbed her cheek. She shook her head softly "No. no no no I couldn't possibly take your jacket. I can't take it. Please keep your jacket." She said opening the car door getting out of the car.

Elijah got out of the car grabbing the jacket from the backseat closing the door behind him walking around to the other side of the car standing in front of her. "I wasn't asking Phoenix. I'm telling you take the damn jacket." He said putting the jacket around her so she wouldn't get cold.

The two complete strangers walked to the dorm room in silence. Phoenix stopped in front of the door then looked up at the male " Thank you for bringing me back Elijah." She said kissing his cheek softly unlocking her dorm room then turned to him "Goodnight. Thank you again." She said letting a small smile come to the side of her face as she closed the door seeing Salem still awake and laid across Salem's bed.
