Now playing: Brother Run Fast by Kaleo
Tyler walked out his Psychology class. He turned the corner seeing Salem standing alone. For a moment he looked around then walked away. Tyler walked into the girls dorm hall. He stood in front of Salem's door then took a deep breath then knocked on the door softly. Tyler put his backpack on his shoulders and held the cake box in his hand waiting for her to open the door.
Salem put her highlighter in her Foreign language book closing it. She stood up grabbing her hood putting it on and pulled her shorts down. Salem went to the door opening it seeing Tyler with a box in his hand. She looked him up and down for a moment. "What do you want Tyler?" She said walking out of her room leaving the door cracked crossing her arms over her chest.
Tyler cleared his throat softly when she opened the door. "I wanted to make sure you were doing alright. I ummm... I stopped by the bakery on my way over here... I didn't know what kind of cake you liked so I just got 12 different kinds." His voice became shaky. He let out a small smile before sitting the box on the ground at her feet. " I'm gonna go now. I just wanted to make sure that you were doing okay." He said walking away from the dorm.

Salem tilted her head softly as he put the box on the ground at her feet. She picked up the box putting it on the dresser. Salem could hear the rain pouring down onto the building. She ran out of the building looking around the parking lot for Tyler.
"You can't do that!" She yelled
Tyler turned around closing the door to the truck "Do what?" He said putting his hands in his pocket
"You can't just stay at the hospital with me for 8 days then not talk to me after I leave the hospital. Then you bring me cake! 12 different cakes?! If you want to tell me something then just tell me already instead of stringing me on like a lost puppy!" She stood in front of him with her arms crossed
Tyler shook his head walking towards her "shut up Salem" He said smashing his lips into hers.
Salem let her arms fall as she wrapped them around his neck kissing him back. Then pushed him away not thinking about her reflexes and slapped him across the face.
Tyler looked up at her holding his cheek "what was that for?!" He yelled
Salem covered her mouth with her hands in shock. "Tyler I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I really didn't."
The rain poured down onto them as they stood looking at each other . The moon glistened in the sky as they walked back into the dorm out of the rain. Rain spotted the windows like snow one droplet at a time. Thunder and lighting crashed in the distance.
