Episode Six (Parcel Nine)
Part Four
"They said when Hollis disappeared." JJ stats telling us the same story.
"That you should should the eff up." Pope interrupts.
We see the light flip off.
"They did it. Go time." John B says.
I was hoping it would take a little longer. Glad the girls are safe but I am not mentally ready yet.
We walk over to the opening in the bottom of the house. We go inside the same way we did last time.
"Holy crap, you know what this is? It just hit me. Pope look." He says handing something to Pope.
"... This is C.H.U.D. Full C.H.U.D"
"What is he talking about?" I ask.
"Cannibalistic humanoid underground dweller? Have you guys not seen that film?"
"The only film I have seen is one we watched in school. I only stuck around gor the first 10 minutes." I say.
"It's actually a good film. It's about like cannibals that live in the sewers and under New York City, and its like."
"Shut up. Shut up." John B quiets JJ.
"...How deep you think this is Pope?" John B asks Pope looking down the well.
"I don't know." He sighs
With that Pope gets all of his stuff situated and JJ and I take the gate off the top of the well.
"Okay i have one request boys plus Anna, " John B starts "don't drop me."
When he said that JJ and I's first reaction was mess with the rope.
"Okay. You're gonna die for sure." Pope says making it clear.
"Got ya"
"All right. Just keep paying it out nice and slow like that." Pope tells us and we let out some rope for John B
"Keep going" we hear John B call
"Wait hold on one sec. I'm gonna get situated." He says leaning back.
"You good?" I ask
"Oh shit" he says loosing his balance and falling over the rope goes flying before Pope or I could get most of it. Finally we get a good hold on the rope.
"I told you not to drop me!" John shouts.
"It was JJ." I say almost dropping my hands to put them in the air.
"You good?" Pope asks John B
"What the hell was that?"
"Little technical difficulties ." pope answers
"Keep going slow." John emphasizes the word slow.
"Okay we are going to start paying you out again." Pope tells him. We slowly start releasing the rope again.
It would be nice right about now for 2 girls to be helping us. What is taking them so long anyways?
"Pope we only have 15 feet left." I tell him.
"Are you getting close?" He asks John B
"I can't tell" he responds
We let out more rope but stopped when John B says "whoa stop."
"... I am hanging over some sewage looking shit." He tells us
"Do you want back up?" I shout
"Keep going , I guess." John B says
