Anirudh enquired Bondita about her reason behind pursuing barristery. Bondita's face became pale. After a moment of silence, Bondita began

Bondita: Barrister babu when my Baba was alive, he was running a medical firm. One day one of his best friends was stuck in a debt. So in order to help him my Baba made him as a partner in his firm. So that he can give him some share from the profit. He also got rid of his debt soon. And my Baba's firm also became well established. One day suddenly my Baba was stuck in a fire accident and died. And after that his best friend came to our house and told that my Baba was in debt to him. And he told that my Baba has kept our house  and firm in stake. Everyone believed him because my Baba had made him a partner .Then he took away everything from us. Then me and my ma had to leave our house (tears brimming in her eyes). But we knew Barrister babu that my Baba would not have been in debt to him. And he would have not kept our house in stake. But there were none to support us. So we came to Devipur two years back. The head of the village is a nice person. He got me the job to check accounts in the temple. But I was determined to prove my dad was innocent. So I approached many barristers but everyone got money from my baba's friend and stepped back. So I thought I would pursue barristery and prove my Baba's innocence.And not only for this reason but also I want to fight for the rights of the women. Because after Baba's death Maa had struggled a lot and even now girls are not allowed to get educated.

Anirudh: I am sorry Bondita. I had not thought there would be a sad reason behind it (apologetically).But I am really proud of you Bondita.

Bondita: Thank you Barrister babu. I am feeling relieved after sharing this with you.

Anirudh: Bondita can you tell me your Baba's friend's name.

Bondita: Shubam Chatterji.

Saurabh and Anirudh parted away from each other.

Bondita: Dada tell me the reason for your arrival.

Saurabh: Bondita we came to know that your alliance was fixed when we were out of the village. Baba sent me to talk about the dowry for the groom.

Anirudh: There is no need to talk about it Saurabh. We are not taking any dowry from Bondita.

Saurabh: Anirudh my friend I am very happy that Bondita got a man like you. I believe you'll take care of my sister well.

Kaka was worried as Anirudh and Batuk hadn't returned yet. Suddenly he heard the telephone ringing. He went and picked the call. Hearing Saurabh on the other side Kaka became happy.

Kaka: Hello.

Saurabh: Hello Kaka I am Saurabh.

Kaka: Arey Saurabh beta how are you?

Saurabh: I am fine Kaka. How are you?

Kaka: I am fine beta. Any good news?

Saurabh: Kaka Anirudh is here. Please let him stay in our home tonight.

Kaka thought that it would be good if Anirudh stayed in Saurabh's home. As he was driving his motor gadi for a long time for the past two days. And he also didn't want Anirudh to stay in Bondita's home before marriage.
