Biting her lip, she raised her fist to knock. Would that too awkward? Should she just walk in? But wouldn't that seem intrusive?
Groaning internally in frustration, she took a deep breath and decided to knock, trying not to show how nervous she was by masking her emotions pretty well.
The door flew open, causing her to jump slightly. Not because it was opened wildly, but there was no one who could've opened it. No one was standing there.
She blinked, taking a step in and took off her shoes, looking around. Why was it so dark though? Were they planning to scare her or something?
Suddenly, the lights turned on and confetti flew everywhere, Ji Ahn jumped again, looking around. She whipped around at the sound of guitar strumming.
Ji Ahn's mouth parted in shock as she watched the boys one by one dramatically exit the bedroom, singing loudly and dancing to one of their songs.
She bit her lip, trying to process it as Jungkook spun her around and Taehyung doing the same as Jungkook let go of her.
Her hand flew up to cover her mouth as Taehyung started singing an opera version of another song, while Yoongi still strums the guitar and Jimin couldn't stop dancing with Hoseok and Jungkook dramatically.
She gives Jin a look, who shrugged, grinning at her. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked at Namjoon, who shrugged too, a small smile threatening to escape his lips.
What were they doing? She thinks to herself, wondering if she'll ever be able to even go an hour without recalling this now. She laughed slightly as Jimin once again spun her, and much to her surprise, Namjoon was putting effort into it.
" You should stay if we're convincing so much, " Hoseok nudged, looking around as the boys circled them, still singing and dancing.
" Will you not? "
Ji Ahn sighs softly, her shoulders slumping but her heart really brimmed with happiness, her body feeling light.
" Just say yes already! " Jin whined, " My food is getting cold! "
Everyone went quiet and looked at her with anticipation, Ji Ahn almost rolled her eyes. " You're acting as if you've proposed to someone but you love your food more. "
" That exactly sounds like Jin hyung, " Jimin says, " But off point. Just stay?! " He pouts, acting cute.
Jungkook sniffles, catching everyone's attention. Ji Ahn blinked in disbelief which made Yoongi chuckle.
" Aish, you've made maknae cry twice now, just tell him you're staying! "
" Y-Yah, why would you cry?! " She grumbled incredulously and the youngest pouts, " Because maybe it'll make you guilty and you'll stay? "
The boys burst in fits of laughter while Jungkook grinned slightly, wiping his cheeks. Ji Ahn shakes her head, a small smile tugged on her lips. " Ji Ahn-ah, I hate buttering people. " Jin crosses his arms, " Just be quick! "
