"Yhaaaa!!" A voice drew from the trees, screaming as he jumped out from the ferns. A white blur suddenly tore through the collection of monsters before him, a rage in the boy I hadn't seen before. A hunger for blood in his red eyes... I was proud. And most of all, I was surprised he had come to save me. Even after my outburst... Sam joined him, of course.. Perhaps, that boy was one I could rely on, after all..-
"FIRE!!!" All eyes spun to me again, my eyes to the weapon. A red laser exploded from the dark metal cannon, launching the pure red firepower straight through me. All were blinded; my torso scattered over the stage!
.....It was funny, actually...
....I didn't even feel any pain..
"NOOOO!!" 303 shouted, grasping at the grass of the earth as he fell.
There was a gasp and a silence as the crackling dyed down. The embers of redstone smoked, the red glow giving its last breath. The cage, stone, chains; all I was concealed in!... Torn to bits.
Where was I..?
Everywhere. That's where.
The mobs finally broke out into a victorious cheer, disbelief in all of them that they had actually done it! Easily, they swarmed and scooped up the last of their problems: 303 and Sam, chaining their struggling bodies to a nearby tree. I...was in shambles.
Or, so they thought..
As they celebrated, small specks of glowing green blew in by the breeze to help me, little sparks of white leapt up off of the ground. My scattered blood began to pool together; defying gravity, even, to do so..
Never had I felt so much POWER within my very cells. Though severed, I could feel a strength which had been locked inside all this time. Glowing gold spheres of power, which had fallen from me prior, began seeping back out of the earth, collecting in the crater in which I had fallen. I was blind. I was deaf. I had no idea what was going on around me. But I had my strength. The strength that had once been in me... In the years before my brother's passing..
Cracking the false security the mobs believed themselves in, my shredded vocal cords making for an impressive, menacing cackle, rose uncontrolled from the crater. I think even I had forgotten.. Herobrine doesn't die...
The crowd gasped as a body rose from the smoke and rubble, terrified eyes set on one figure as it rose, slumped and limp. Under the flesh that was still in the process of stitching itself together, pure bits of white, yellow, and green danced about. Yellow spheres continued to rise from the ground, joining my strength, rejuvenating my health.... So that was why Notch always did that.. After a fight, he always spilled such spheres of energy onto me, though I never knew why. Appears as though the energy from souls lost were the very things reinvigorating my own soul..
Once my eyes were restored to me, I opened them at once. They were brighter than they ever had been before. It was only as my body came together that the brightness dulled, and as my fingers returned around the glowing veins holding their place, I was almost disappointed to feel pain again. Finally, I landed back on what was left of the stage, amazed with the new skin and flesh that had formed; void of scars, as always.
As I had taken a direct hit to the chest, my shirt, after all these years, had lived its last. Only some torn cyan cloth remained. Though shredded, my pants remained in tact. I paid no mind to the lack of minor protection. I was in the ring again...and I had some opponents to slay.
A diamond sword materialized in my hand, memories of old flashing before me. The mocking trees the crowd, the monsters every opponent I was forced to face, Sam and 303 the Steve I had to save. Instead of stumbling, I let the memories fuel me. The monsters ahead only reminded me of all the challenges I had already won against; the whispers calling my name only reminded me of the strength I had and why I was feared; and those I fought for only grounded me in a world that made little sense.
