Bright hearts never stop glowing in dark places. In fact, they shine even brighter in the absence of light.

That crystal fly stopped shining because it just wasn't there.

Maybe the water ate it.

But when Sucrose fell into the water, she quickly coughed, tried to float and to find her bag, which was in the middle of the dark pool into which she had fallen.

She quickly tried to swim towards it, trying not to drown.

And when she got closer to the bag, she saw how someone else got up from the water coughing, holding the bag.

—“Are you hurt?” — The man she knew was there. —“Tell me you didn't drown.”

Sucrose looked at him in surprise. Rubedo had followed her.

—“What are you even doing here!?” — She asked, trying to not drown again.

—“We should better get closer to the shore.” — Rubedo suggested. —“I feel that at any moment you are going to sink”

He was right. Sucrose quickly swam towards him to follow him to the shore. She felt cold.

Rubedo took Sucrose by the arms and helped her out of the water. Why did she fall? He got out of the water holding Sucrose and quickly getting her bag next to her.

Sucrose immediately got a long coat out of the bag and put it on her. Also she got one for Rubedo, who was shivering.

When they both got into the clothes, they had a small argument.

—“Why did you follow me!?” — Sucrose asked. —“And since when are you following me!?”

—“I've never left you.” — Rubedo shamelessly confessed. —“I promised I will take care of you as a payment for causing you nightmares, so don't judge me, please.” — He spoke. —“And why did you follow a damn crystal fly? We're you expecting it to guide you to a treasure?”

—“To start with, where are we?” — Sucrose asked, inside of the cave, looking up and realizing there was a hole in the top.

Sucrose and Rubedo started walking where the path started. They had nothing else to do to get to a checkpoint.

And when they walked in, they realized they were on an underground place. Maybe the one Tsuyuko talked about.

—“So this is Enkanomiya...” — Sucrose whispered.

—“Don't you mean Sangonomiya?” — Rubedo asked.

Sucrose shook her head.

—“We are where the souls come to rest.” — She spoke. —“The place where we are judged for our sins to be forgiven.”

Rubedo was confused.

—“What do you mean?” — He asked. —“So we are dead?”

—“That might be either an statement or a prediction.” — She answered. —“If we keep walking and find the place where we will be judged, everything will be fine.”

Rubedo didn't get it.

—“Wait... we!?” — He disagreed. —“I don't want to be judged and realize I am the shit I am, thing I already know. You are the one who wants to be judged, so please, don't generalize.”

Sucrose laughed.

They both kept walking, following the small water stream, until they realized they were already on an open place.
