While you and your new family members were enjoying breakfast, a black car pulled into the driveway of the home and made a stop at the front door before the driver stepped out of the vehicle and made their way to the back right seat of the car. Opening it for the passenger, a black business shoe was planted firmly on the ground. Stepping out of the car, a man with short H/C hair, and E/C eyes that stared through a pair of eye glasses, stood tall while staring at the manor in front of him. He wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath and black tie as he was given a brief case by the driver.
"I'm home." The man said in a firm and serious tone as he stood there for a few more moments before letting out an exasperated sigh and slouching his shoulders. "I'm tired...!" He said while loosening his tie around his neck.
"I shall be taking my leave now, sir." The driver said to the man as the tired worker gave a weak wave.
"Yeah, thank you, Hajime..." The man replied to the driver as the black car he rode in, drove out of the driveway before another voice suddenly called out to him.
"Ah, Mr.L/N, good morning." Your father turned around to see Rin walking up towards him in the same school uniform.
"Good morning, Rin. Are you gonna be joining them for breakfast?" Your father asked as Rin shook her head.
"Nah, I already ate at home. I'm just going wait until they're done." Rin said before getting cut off when the two of them heard the main doors open.
"Ah, Dad! You're back!" You called out from the doors as you walked out and all the girls were stood behind you as you walked down to your dad.
"I hope you gave them a proper tour of the house." Your father said as you just laughed while wrapping an arm around him as he turned towards the girls. "Anne, I'm sorry. The project that we've been working on at our company required my full attention." He apologized to her as your mother waved her hands around reassuringly.
"No, it's fine. I understand how much more you have to work after doing so much for me and my daughters. I don't know how to be anymore thankful." Anne said as she stood in front of him and gave him a warm smile. "Welcome home." She said as your father blushed and got flustered while averting eye contact.
"Y-Yeah. I'm home." Your father said before locking eyes with her daughters. "So, you're Anne's daughters, huh? It's an honor to meet you all." He bowed his head to them in respect as Suzu walked up with a kind grin.
"Heyo~ I'm Suzu~ Nice to meet ya!" Suzu said while giving him a peace sign as he was surprised at how energetic she was.
"Suzu, greet him properly." Lily said as she and Akane both walked up and stood next to their mom. "When we heard about our mother remarrying, we couldn't be anymore ecstatic. We also couldn't believe when you took on our debts. Our father chose to leave us with nothing and we struggled so much to get by. To think that we get to live here now, it's beyond our imaginations. Thank you so much for everything we've done." She and Akane both bowed their heads before Lily noticed Suzu still posing before pushing her sister's head down as your father smiled.
"There's no need to be so formal with me. I just want my son to be happy and as much as I protested it first, he's the one who suggested me to go out looking for a new woman to be in our lives. Now, we have four who I think will only make both me and him happier. Let's make sure to get along and live a cozy life together." Your father said while patting each of them on the head as they raised their heads as Lily and Suzu both smiled widely.
"Ahem!" They all turned around to see Rin standing there with a hand on her hip as she raised her other hand to show her watch to them. "This is sweet and all, but we better go if we wanna catch the train on time." She said as Anne was confused while you, and your step-sisters walked pass her.
