Breaking the rules (SCP-049 x reader)

Chapter 19

From looking around more you realized you partially recognized where you were. It was one of the first floors that were used to contain Keter SCPs.

Connor seemed uneasy. I mean, could you blame him?

" Hey, it's okay"

" Are you friends with that thing?" Connor asked.

" 049? Well... More like acquaintances"

" Why?"

" I really couldn't give an answer"

" You know... You're different than the other people who work here"

" Well, some of my colleagues are a little crazy. Some of the tests that get run here are ridiculous... "

Connor laughed a bit, " Yeah...".

Tammy ended up closer to 049, you could tell she did not like it. You tried to subtly switch places with her.

You made your way to the elevator in a relatively short time. You all got inside but it was a little uncomfortable how close you all were.

You and Tammy subconsciously tightly grab the metal bars on the wall as the elevator starts to go up.

You were fine though.

You exit the elevator and start to walk before stopping.

" Tammy stay here with him. I have to take 049 back but then I'll meet you over here"

" Okay... Yeah, that's fine"

" Yell if something happens, if you have to, leave me behind. Come on 049"

" You know, I really should ask someone to do something about the elevators. They always seem to break during these breaches"

You take your card and scan it. The door opened up.

" Seems like most of the power is back. Alright, go on, inside"

Suddenly you look to your side as you hear something, but you didn't see it yet. And you didn't want to. You pushed 049 into the room, not noticing you dropped your card. You rush in and quickly make sure the door shut.

049 stood there confused, he didn't hear what you heard.

Your breathing was fast but you eventually calmed it down. Your back was against the sealed door. You reach in your pocket only to realize. Your clearance card was gone.

You were stuck.

" Y/N?"

You look up at him.

" You didn't hear that?"

" No"

You laugh uncomfortably, " Well, looks like I'm stuck in here".

" You dropped your card?"

" Hey! It scared me!" you yelled.

" What was it?"

" I... I don't know... Well, I think I know. It was around the corner. I heard it and I just didn't want it to know I was there"

" I'm sure someone will come by eventually to find you"

" I hope Tammy realizes what happened"

You lean on the wall and sigh, " So what now?".

" I suppose we just wait"

" Yeah..."
