hi guys long time no slay
—
He was warm. So so very warm.
You could only stare at your ceiling for the rest of the night, reminding yourself of all that'd happened; how much you'd been able to hold Chifuyu against you. He was warm. He was welcoming.
It almost felt like walking into a fully heated home.
You bring your comforter up to your mouth, eyes crinkled as you start to feel the bounce in your stomach and the double skips of your heart against your ribs.
He was so very welcoming. His arms, his smile, the comforting smell of his clothes that lingered against your own after parting your embrace.
It was such a strange feeling, the flop of your abdomen against your skin; It were as if you were on a constantly dipping roller coaster.
Did Chifuyu make you feel this way? Or was it the excitement you got from being with him, being around him? Was it the energy in his words or the way his smile curled up in such a specific way that you could differ it from all the others?
You could care less, closing your eyes finally to rest without opening your eyelids again to think more of your blond friend while staring idly at the ceiling.
You'd hoped the flips in your stomach were from how Chifuyu you made you feel.
Chifuyu couldn't believe how giddy he was right now, walking a tad faster than he usually would and hiding a smile against his lips. His cheeks hurt from holding it to himself for so long.
His hands brush against the secure bandaging you'd provided him, the swell of his smile breaking through. He could almost leap joyously, replaying the image of you smiling in his head.
After you'd patched him up, the two of you held a small conversation covering your sleep and how you'd been. It'd flustered you that he cared more about your health than his own.
Your talks, he swore, could go on forever without a single pause. There would be no space for awkward spaces in between subjects or random losses of topics.
With you, not an hour went by wasted.
The night Chifuyu'd gone to sleep, he noticed the chill of the night air seeping through his cracked open window. The hairs on his arms froze up, the voice in his head demanding he close the window the rest of the way for his sake.
Chifuyu didn't want to get up, so he opted to pulling his comforter higher up his crunched-up body.
A blink of his eye and he was out like a light, tugging the comforter tighter against his body to create some sort of heat in the void of a room that felt like the Costco freezer aisle.
