Mousepelt watched in horror as the cats around her fought for their lives. Dark Forest cats lashed at her Clanmates. Some fell and didn't get up. The brown she-cat had restrain herself from letting out a shriek for allowing herself to be consumed by the darkness of the the Place Of No Stars. "What have I done?" She whispered, mostly to herself.
"Oh, Mousepelt," the she-cat spun to see Silversol standing right behind her, blood staining her white fur, "look at what you've done. You're lucky your little friend, Amberheart, isn't here to see this."
Mousepelt dug her claws into the dirt. Did Silversol see what had happened? Did she stay to see what had become of the golden warrior?
"Where's Amberheart?" Mousepelt growled, glaring at her enemy.
Silversol frowned, flicking her tail as she looked down at Mousepelt. Her yellow green eyes flashed with hate.
"You killed her." She finally responded.
The whole world seemed to crumble to nothing. All the cats died. The Dark Forest vanished. All that was left was Mousepelt. She was all alone. Everything, everyone she loved most was gone. There was nothing left in the world for Mousepelt to fight for anymore. She had nowhere to go anymore.
Mousepelt fell to the ground, looking away from Silversol. Nothing could support her weight anymore. Everything was over.
"No..." She whispered in to the darkness. "No..." She didn't know how to accept this yet.
The scents of Ravenclaw and Foxtail were somewhere nearby and drawing closer. What did Mousepelt care? No one but her and Amberheart could kill Silversol. And Amberheart was dead.
"Mousepelt!" a familiar voice shrieked. Too familiar. But it was impossible. The voice was dead. "No!" it sounded over her head and a screech of pain filled the air right after it.
The darkness faded and Mousepelt looked over to see Silversol in the opposite direction she was standing before. Blood poured from her neck as she stood yowling defiantly and painfully. The white warrior fell and began to writhe in pain.
Mousepelt looked around to see Foxtail was standing on one side of her, his green eyes wide and horror stricken. On the other side, Ravenclaw looked at Mousepelt with wide sympathetic blue eyes. Both toms saw something Mousepelt obviously didn't.
Slowly, Mousepelt turned. Behind her now was a golden she-cat. A scratch was on her side, bleeding onto the grass. The fighting in the clearing had stopped to see what had become of the three cats who started all this mess.
"Amberheart!" Mousepelt shrieked.
