Thistleclaw blew a unsheathed paw at Mousepelt, but she dodged almost getting her ear ripped off by Clawface's attack. She spun and raked her claws across the Dark Forest tom's chest. Mousepelt bared her teeth in a snarl as Snowtuft dug his claws in her flank. She spun and lashed her claws at his muzzle, making him fall back with an angry yowl. Mousepelt then turned to see Deathmask pounce at her. She jumped away as he landed in front of her. She then ran and raked her claws across his side. The spotted tom let out an angry hiss. A black tom with amber eyes then pounced on her and started trying to claw at her face. Mousepelt just kicked her back legs at his stomach and pushed him off.
"You're doing very well, little mouse," Silversol purred as she circled the training cats, "you're getting stronger, soon those cats will regret ever questioning you."
"Who next!?" Mousepelt shrieked, ignoring Silversol.
That's when Flightwing and Cherrynose came out the dark. Mousepelt wasn't surprised. There was obviously something about Flightwing. Cherrynose just wanted to be deputy.
"I've been waiting for this," Flightwing stepped up.
"Funny," Mousepelt lowered herself and unsheathed her claws, "I was thinking the thing!" She launched herself at the SkyClan warrior and landed on her, slicing at her muzzle. Cherrynose sat down and waited for her turn.
Flightwing ran her claw at Mousepelt. The brown warrior jumped back and snarled at the grey she-cat. She bolted at Flightwing and the two tumbled around sending blows and spewing curses at one another. Mousepelt bit down hard on Flightwing's neck, then sliced down at her side. Flightwing shrieked in pain and tried escaping, but Mousepelt ripped down at the she-cat's stomach. Blood spewed out and Flightwing fought for life. Mousepelt stood over her and licked the blood off her paws. Cherrynose let out a terrified shriek and ran out. The black tom was about to chase her, but was stopped by Silversol.
"Let her go," the scarred warrior mewed, "we want every cat to know about our new warrior."
Mousepelt spat on the dead SkyClan warrior and went back up. "Now who?"
Mousepelt, Silversol, and Deathmask walked toward the island tunnel. It was a full moon and the Gathering would be held. One more Gathering after this one would be the Daylight Gathering. Tonight, Silversol's plan wasn't going to beat what she had for the future. Mousepelt still didn't know what this plan was. But she wanted to end it all soon and it was coming soon.
"What is the plan exactly?" Mousepelt asked.
"You, little mouse," Silversol began, "are going to kill Jumbledstar."
"What?" Mousepelt jumped. The leader never did anything to her and he had family. Not to mention, he was a leader, he had more lives than a normal warrior. "I can't kill him!"
"You're pathetic then!" Deathmask snarled. "If you don't, then we will!"
"Now, Deathmask, we must be patient with our little warrior." Silversol purred. "Now Mousepelt-"
"I just want to get stronger and beat Amberheart! She's the one who must pay!" Mousepelt interrupted.
"By doing that, we must kill the leaders, starting with the one that allowed you to stay." Silversol explained.
"But, he hasn't done anything! You want me to kill the leaders? Are you insane?" Mousepelt hissed.
"Fine," Silversol frowned, flicking her tail, "if you don't do it, then we will." with that Silversol vanished with Deathmask.
Mousepelt listed as the Clans were speaking. She didn't hear anything about Flightwing or Cherrynose. The grey ThunderClan cat was probably staying quiet about how Mousepelt had killed the SkyClan she-cat.
She waited for her chance to walk in and finish her task. It was nearing the end. She would stop them all from leaving. It was Tumblestar who ended it and that was Mousepelt's cue. She began making her way through the bushes and padded through the snow to the clearing.
When she arrived the Clans glared at her as she made her way to the Great Oak. The deputies were ready to fight as she got closer, ignoring the terrified, angry, and sad looks of Clanmates and traitors.
"Hello, Jumbledstar," Mousepelt purred her tail curling, "may I speak with you please?"
"What ever it is you wish to say to me, Mousepelt," the ruffled grey tom growled, "you may say it to me at the camp!"
"I'm afraid this has to be shared with you now." Mousepelt explained calmly. The Clans murmured silently to one another. Mousepelt dug her claws in to the dirt as she waited for her old leader to respond.
"Let's just get this over with Jumbledstar," Tumblestar flicked his tail, "the sooner we answer her request the sooner we may leave."
Jumbledstar shot a glare at the ThunderClan leader. He took a moment at looking down at Mousepelt, his different colored eyes burning in to her. He then spat on the ground and jumped down. Mousepelt prepared herself for everything falling to place. Her chance was coming.
"What is it?" Jumbledstar asked coming face to face with her speckled face. Mousepelt quickly unsheathed her claws and raked them across the grey leader's neck. Yellowstone let out a terrified shriek as the leader coughed up blood and fell over on his side. His mate and kits pelted over and tried getting him to stay alive.
As the family mourned the leader, Mousepelt turned her head to glare at Stoneheart, his face full of fear and confusion. "Congratulations Stoneheart." Mousepelt put flatly. She flicked her tail and stormed off. Rainpaw stepped up and was about to say something, but Mousepelt just whacked her away with her paw.
When she reached the tree bridge and was out of sight, Mousepelt stopped panic stricken at what she had done. She bolted off, trying to rid her head of the leader, drawing his last life.
