Little One Part 26- Bellamy Blake x reader

As soon as we made sure Nyko was going to wake up, Finn, Clarke and I went back to the Ark camp. We needed to let everyone know that we had a chance to negotiate with the grounders.

"Y/N, be safe for me, please." was the last thing Bellamy has said to me before we left. I know Bellamy wanted to come with us, but someone had to stay with Lincoln, Nyko and Octavia. He had to make sure they were safe.

We told Abby and Jaha are plan was to negotiate with the grounders. Finally, we had something to offer. We could turn reapers back into grounders. Obviously, Jaha was against it, but Abby had faith in her daughter. Jaha wanted all of us to run and get as far away from the grounders as we could. That would've happened if Jaha was still in charge, but he wasn't. Abby was in charge now, and she believed in us.

By this time grounders were surrounding our camp. They were waiting for the first morning light to attack. We still had time to negotiate. Clark, Finn and I decided that the best option was for Clarke to talk to the grounders. So, that's exactly what she did.

While Clark was talking with their leader, Abby, Finn, and I went to the dropship. We needed Abby to complete Lincoln's transition. Well, Lincoln wasn't a reaper anymore, but we needed Abby to keep him alive. We needed to prove to the grounders that the transition works, and that after the transition we can keep them alive.

When Abby and I got to the dropship Bellamy, Octavia, and Nyko were all sitting around Lincoln. He was unconscious, but alive.

Bellamy looked relived that we came back. That meant that our plan worked, but it also meant that we didn't have much time. Lincoln's state was getting worse every second.

Abby gave Lincoln some kind of injection. I wasn't sure what it was, but I believed Abby knew what she was doing. At one point, the worst thing that could've happened, happened.

"He stopped breathing." Abby yelled and quickly started preforming CPR on him. Octavia was by her side the whole time.

I was standing next to Bellamy and by the look on his face, I knew we were thinking the same thing 'we messed up' 

I guess Bellamy saw that I was worried, and he took my hand into his. I looked at him surprised. I didn't know if he did that to comfort me or him. Probably both. But I didn't complain. It actually helped, a lot. Instantly i felt much calmer.

I gave him a sad smile and he returned it. I couldn't help myself, I just felt the need to rest my head on his shoulder, so I did. He made me feel safe and protected. With him, I felt like nothing could hurt me, ever.

Abby's words pulled me back to reality. "I'm sorry. He's gone."

No, this can't be happening. This was our only shot to make things better with the grounders, and to save our people. To make the matter worse, in that moment Clarke walked into the dropship with the grounder leader and a few of her guards.

When they saw what happened, and that Lincoln didn't survive, the commander gave an order.

"Kill them all."
