We looked around and there were bunch of dead people on the ground. They weren't wearing grounder clothes. They were wearing our clothes.
"Where the hell did they come from?" Murphy asked
"From the Ark." Bellamy answered him.
We walked to a cliff and we saw a part of the Ark. It was totaled from the landing.
We stood there for a few seconds before we turned around to walk away. As we were leaving we heard a women's voice screaming.
We ran back to the cliff and looked down. We saw a girl there. She was barely holding on.
"Hey! Up here!" Bellamy yelled.
The girl looked up at us.
"Please, help me." She yelled
"We have to do something." I said.
"We don't have time." Finn insisted.
"This isn't a grounder, Finn. She's from the Ark. We can't leave her here. We have a rope." I argued. While I was taking the rope from my backpack.
"She can hold on. We'll come back for her later. This is taking time we don't have." Finn said.
"You want to leave her here?" I was so angry. He couldn't be serious.
"We have to save our friends. Many lives are more important than one." He said.
I looked at Bellamy for support, but I didn't find it. He was looking at the ground, thinking.
"You are not seriously considering this, Bellamy." I asked him.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N), but Finn is right. We can't risk so many lives over one." He answered me.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"Are you serious?!" I yelled at him. I was so mad. How could he even consider leaving that girl there?
He stayed quiet.
"I know no one's asking me but I'm with (Y/N) on this." Murphy added.
"What if it was me or Clarke there instead of that girl? Would you leave us too?"
i knew the answer to that question. Of course, they wouldn't leave Clarke like that.
I turned around and passed Murphy the rope. I tied the other end of the rope around my waist.
"You are not going down there." Bellamy grabbed my arm. I pulled my arm out of his hand.
"It's not your decision."
After Murphy tied the rope to a tree i slowly started going down the cliff wall. As soon as i got to her level I reached for her. She grabbed my arm. I put my foot on the rock she was standing on. As soon as I did the rock crumbled and broke. I had the rope to hold me, but she didn't have anything to hold onto. She fell.
The knot was too weak to hold me. The knot untied and I started falling. Luckily, I grabbed a branch. The rope fell down.
"(Y/N)!!!" I heard Bellamy yell my name.
"Bellamy!" I yelled back
He sighed.
"Bellamy, she's gone!"
I felt tears forming in my eyes. There was a silence. He didn't know what to say.
"I'm slipping." I yelled.
I didn't know how much longer I could hold on.
"Focus on me." He said. "You can do this."
"No!" i couldn't hold on much longer.
"Yes, you can. You're strong."
His words helped me. I tried to focus on his words and not on the pain and fear.
"I'm not going to let you die. You hear me?"
The tears were running down my face. Not because I was about to die, but because that girl died because of me.
"We don't have any more rope" Finn said to Bellamy.
"Then we make one." Bellamy answered him.
"We don't have time. Our friends-" Finn started but Bellamy interrupted him.
"We don't know if we can save our friends! For all we know they might be dead. But what we do know is that we can save(Y/N)."
They got old seatbelts from the wreckage, and they made a rope from it.
This took less than 10 minutes. By this time, I was so close to letting go. My hands hurt and I couldn't hold much longer.
"(Y/N)" I heard Bellamy call my name.
I looked up and i saw him looking down at me.
"I'm coming."
He tied the knot around his waist and started coming down towards me. When he got close to me, he grabbed my waist.
"I got you. Put your arms around me."
"I can't. We're going to fall."
"Yes, you can."
I stayed silent.
"Do you trust me?" He asked me and i nodded.
"Then trust me and put your arms around me."
I took a deep breath. I put my arms around him, and he was holding me.
"Pull us up!" He yelled.
They started pulling us up. Everything was fine until we heard Finn yell "Grounders!"
Apparently, grounders started attacking.
"Murphy cover me!" Finn yelled while handing Murphy a gun.
The only thing we could hear were gunshots until we heard a horn. It was the acid foghorn. Because of that, the grounders stopped attacking.
"Murphy come back to the rope."
Both of them started pulling the rope again. Finally, they pulled us up.
As soon as I stood up from the ground, I looked at Bellamy and he looked at me. Tears started rolling down my face. He would never admit it but I'm pretty sure he was crying too.
I threw my hands around his neck, and he put his hands around my waist.
"Thank you." I said quietly.
We pulled away. He looked me in the eyes, put his hands on my cheeks and kissed my forehead.
"Umm... not to interrupt but if you forgot there was an acid foghorn. We should find shelter." Murphy said.
"There is no fog." I heard a familiar voice.
I looked around to see where is the sound coming from. And then I saw her. It was Octavia.
