I couldn't sleep that night. Everything that was happening has gotten the best of me and I just couldn't bring myself to go to sleep. I was worried about Bellamy going to the Mount Weather. What if he gets caught? What if we don't save them in time? Our friends might already be dead.
I was sitting just on the outside of the camp we have set for that night. We were on our way to the Ark camp, but we have set up the camp so that we can rest for the night.
"What are you doing up?" I heard Bellamy's voice behind me. I guess I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't even hear his steps. Bellamy didn't leave yet. The plan was for him to leave in the morning with Lincoln. Lincoln knew where the tunnels were that lead directly to Mount Weather.
"Can't sleep. You?" I answered him.
"Same. I was about to go take a walk to clear my head. Care to join?" He asked me, offering me his hand to stand up. I nodded and he helped me up.
"So, what's on your mind?" He asked.
"Everything."
"Want to elaborate?" He asked me.
"It's just everything. The Ark camp, Mount Weather, the Grounders. Just everything."
"Everything will be fine, little one, I promise. I will go in there and we will get our friends back."
"But what if they catch you?" I asked him with a worried look on my face.
"They won't."
"You don't know that."
"Do you trust me?' He asked me. It was a weird question, and I didn't know where he was going with that.
I looked at him before I answered. "Yes" I said. I could see his face light up for a second. I didn't think he expected that answer.
"Then trust me when I tell you that everything will be fine."
We were walking for about ten more minutes. Just talking. It was nice to have someone to talk to.
He said something funny, and I started to laugh. At that moment I felt truly happy, even though everything in my life was going wrong.
"I think this is the first time I saw you truly laugh since we got to the Earth." I looked at him, and he looked happy. I thought about it, and he was right. This was the first time I truly laughed in a long time.
"I'm glad it was me who got you to smile." He said. I think he took pride in that.
Before I could answer I heard something moving in the bushes. We didn't bring any guns for protection, and we were about 15 minutes away from the others.
Both of us were quiet, just observing the bush. And then something horrible happened. A huge hog ran out of the bush. He was running straight towards us.
Bellamy jumped in front of me to protect me. The hog attacked Bellamy. I pulled out a little knife I had hidden in my boot. I stabbed the hog in its neck, and it was dead. I pulled the hog off of Bellamy.
"Are you okay?" I asked Bellamy, it was obvious that I was panicking a little bit.
"Yeah, it's just my leg."
I looked down at his leg and there was a lot of blood coming from his upper thigh.
"Sit down. I need to bandage it up before you lose too much blood."
He did what I told him. That hog was a wild animal and who knows what kind of dieses it had, this meant I had to clean the wound first. We were lucky that I had a few bandages and water with me. I tried cleaning the wound up through his pants, but it didn't work. The cloth from his pants was getting in the way.
"Do you need me to take them off?" Bellamy said. He was referring to his pants.
"I can't get to the wound through the pants." I informed him. For some reason I was nervous for him to take his pants off.
He unbuckled his pants and slid them off. Now, he was sitting in front of me, just in his black boxers. I got to work right away. I took a little bit of water and poured it on the wound. I started cleaning his wound, but I kept getting distracted by the fact that he was sitting in front of me, just in his boxers.
I looked up at him and he wasn't looking at me. He was looking at the sky, trying to distract himself from the pain.
While I was cleaning his wound, every now and then, I would steal a glance at his junk. I couldn't help myself. Even though it was dark, and he was wearing boxers, I could tell he was big.
Focus, Y/N, I said to myself. Obviously, not out loud. I couldn't let him know that he was distracting me.
I started tying a piece of cloth around his thigh. In order to tie the cloth properly, I had to move his boxers up a little bit because the boxers were right on the edge of the wound.
I gently grabbed the edge of the boxers and pulled them up just a little bit. As soon as I did that, I could see it moving inside his boxers. I didn't say anything, and I don't think he noticed because of the overwhelming pain in his thigh.
We didn't talk the whole time. I felt awkward and I think he did, too. After I was done tying the cloth I said, "You're all done."
He slowly stood up and started putting his pants back on. I was still feeling very awkward, so I wasn't saying anything, I was just looking at the ground. When he got to buttoning the button on his pants, he realized what happened. He realized he was hard, and that I probably saw it. He was just hoping I didn't, even though that would've been almost impossible.
He looked at me and he immediately knew that I knew.
"Y/N, I'm sorry, I was jus-" Before he could finish his sentence, we heard Octavia's voice.
"There you are guys. We've been looking everywhere for you."
I looked at Bellamy and mouthed 'It's okay' and he gave me a little smile.
