Little One part 28 - Bellamy Blake x Reader

We all separated and went to the dropship. We though that would be the easiest way to get past the grounders unnoticed. When i walked into the dropship Raven, Bellamy and Murphy were already there.

"Oh, good, you've made it." Bellamy said standing up from the ground where he was previously sitting.

"Where are Finn and Clarke?" I asked.

"We were hoping they were with you." Raven answered me.

"I haven't seen them." At this point I was getting worried. After a few minutes, Finn came through the door running. He was carrying Clarke in his hands, she was unconscious. 

"Quick, I need some bandages or anything that will stop the bleeding." I yelled.

Bellamy handed me some bandages he found on the ground, and i got to work. Clarke had a pretty bad injury on the side of her head, but I was sure she'd be okay. Finn told us how they were attacked by a grounder on their way to the dropship.

After I got Clarke all cleaned up, I went outside and sat next to Bellamy. Raven and Finn stayed inside with Clarke.

"How's she doing?" 

"Still unconscious, but she'll live." I answered.

"Good." He said. "And how are you?" He asked me after a few moments.  It was weird to hear someone ask me how I'm doing. Nobody has done that in a long time. I wanted to tell him that I feel terrible, that I'm in constant pain, and that I feel guilty for everything that's happening to us and our people. But I couldn't. I had to be strong. 

"I'm fine." is all that came out of my mouth. It wasn't hard to tell that I was lying. We fell into a silence that lasted a few moments, but it felt like days.

"We can talk about it whenever you are ready. Just know that I'm here for you. Not just now, but forever. Even if we get into a fight, I'll still be here for you. I know how you feel. You need to know that none of this is your fault. Everything that's happening to us is not your fault, so stop blaming yourself."

It's like he was reading my mind. He always knew what to say to make me feel better. 

I didn't know what to say. If I said anything I knew I was going to start crying. Everything was just too much for me. I didn't say anything, I just mouthed 'Thank you' and leaned my head on his shoulder. I could feel him stiffen up. For a second, I thought he was going to push me away, but he didn't. He put his arm around my shoulders, holding me tight.

In that moment all my worries disappeared. I wanted to stay like that forever. It was weird because everything was going wrong, yet right there, in that moment, everything felt just right.

We were sitting there for about 10 minutes. We weren't saying anything, we were just enjoying each other's company. Until we saw something in the woods.

"Grounders!" Bellamy yelled.

We both took cover behind a fallen tree. Clarke, Raven and Finn all came outside and took cover behind various object left from the dropship. There were dozens of grounders in front of the gates of our old camp.

"We are surrounded." Clarke said.

The grounder who attacked them ran away and told Lexa that Finn was on the run, so she sent them to get him.

When we realized they weren't moving any closer, we slowly went back to the dropship to make a plan.

Bellamy, Clarke, Raven and I were going to guard the front gate, Finn had the lower level and Murphy was guarding the top level.
