" So I was wondering, would you like to go out for a pizza sometime? A new Pizza Express just opened down the road if you wanna come."

So just after I tell Jason that he's drooling and not admiring, the kid decides to zone off! Again! For the second time in one day!! I mean, I get that this girl has been on his mind since forever, but I didn't think it would make him travel to the world of his own imagination every time he saw her. I'm like really??? Come on, get a grip!! So obviously it falls upon me to bring him back to the world of the humans........... "JASON!!"

Irene is staring at me with what looks like a mixture of contempt, disgust, and pure shock, and I don't even know what I said!!
"Errmmm, hi! I'm Jason."
"Yeah, you already said. Why are you in my way?"
Crrraaaaaappppp!!!
"Ohhh, errmmm, I just wanted to see if you wanted to goomadawimi........."
"Sorry, what?? Try using your mouth, I can't make out a word you're saying!!"
Crraappy fudged up flipping fudgecakes!!
"I said, (don't flop, don't flop, don't flop......) do you wanna, ummmm...."
"What?? Seriously hurry up! I haven't got all day!"
"Do you wanna go on a date with me??"

The girl is looking at me like I've come from Saturn or something. I can feel my face heating up as she stares at me for what seems like eternity, and then I see her mouth open........ Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes!!!
"Never. In a million years, would I go out, with a boy. Like. You."
The entire school is looking at me my looks of pity, humor, and what looks like satisfaction as well!! "Oh! Well, umm, see you around, I guess......." She doesn't even look at me as she pushes past without answering my question............
Please kill me, dump my body in a river, direct the flow of that river to a saw mill, and crush me into tiny mincemeat pieces!!!
