I watch as the small creature escapes the tent, eager to get away from me. I scowl. I could easily chase after her but I don't have time right now. I have other matters to attend to.

My boots click on the ground as rage fills my bones. Energy pulses through my body as I walk across the camp to where the leaders sleep peacefully, waiting for the sun to rise for another day to come. The events of today replaying in my mind.

I had arrived just in time for the Completion ceremonies to begin. I made my way to the leader observation deck, nodding briefly at the soldiers who saluted to my presence as I walked into the room. Sargent Rivora sits at the forefront, an empty seat next to him. Without a word I tread over and sink into the seat, spreading out to make myself as comfortable as possible in the hard wooden seat.

"Dam you palace rats. Just waltzing in and out of the place as you please" Rivora spits, an ugly sneer painted across his face.

"Watch your mouth," I remark lazily, my eyes focused on the screen where a small creature steals my interest. Tushinosa. I shift uncomfortably with the growing stiffness in my pants. She's filled out nicely. What once was a scrawny stick that looked like she could break in seconds, now stands proudly and filled out with hips and thighs that could bring any man to his knees.

Rivora snorts, spitting to the side before pulling out a smoke. He takes a long draw of it before pointing the smoke towards the screen.

"That one there is quite fine, isn't she?" He grins, leaning forward in his seat.

My fists clench and my jaw locks as I watch his perverted eyes undress her right in front of me. The balls he must have.

"You'd keep your hands and eyes to yourself if you know what's good for you. I hear the general himself is interested in this one," I growl, hoping that will be enough to make him back down. I really don't feel like causing a scene at the moment.

"Oh really now? Shame." Rivora sighs reluctantly, as the screen changes. There is a sound of chaos and gunshots ring as I turn my focus back to the screen.  My focus stays on her. The woman who has consumed my mind for the past months, plaguing me with desperate thoughts. She seems to be communicating with her team well, although it's hard to hear over the officers standing behind me as they chatter about the techniques being displayed and make bets on who will win today.

That's when shit went down.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?!" Rivora shouts and suddenly the room is in an uproar. I turn to see what they're reacting to, only to find one of the soldiers with waves of red light rolling off his back. I push to my feet instantly.

It's an Alfinian.

"Shut it down!" Rivora roars and instantly the game dissipates. He charges out of the room, soldiers and officers alike flooding after him like a tidal wave. I too, rush after him, unsure of what he'll do. Panic races through me. There's nothing I can do. It was too public, too many people saw. This is serious, he infiltrated a military camp and became a soldier. His punishment will be severe.

I charged up to Rivora and snagged his elbow, forcing him to turn and face me with his face fuming red with anger. I have to be cautious.

"What do you plan to do?" I ask, demanding an answer.

"What else is there to do? I'm going to fucking kill it." He spits, his snaggletooth revealing with his sneer.

"Take a moment and think about this. Why don't we go back to the tents and discuss this?" I mutter softly, stepping close so that only he can hear me.

Rivora glares at me for a moment before he nods, turning to tell a couple of officers to restrain the beast before turning back towards his own quarters. I follow along, racking my brain for any kind of plan I can manage.

Should we send him to the General to be punished and loyalty tested? Should we have him executed here and just have him disposed of? No, there would be too many questions.

Many more thoughts like this rush through my head faster than I can properly process them. It's not long before I find myself seated within Rivoras private office tent while he paces restlessly, no doubt as uneasy as I am.

And that's when it hits me. I know what I must do.

I shake my head, clearing my thoughts as I enter those very same tents from much earlier in the day, only to find Rivora leaned back with a glass of liquor in his hand, clearly happy with the actions of today. His eyes widen when he sees me enter and quickly removes his feet from the makeshift desk and jumps to his feet.

"Ah, Xayben. It's quite late, shall I offer you a drink?" He says nervously. I sneer, my eyes narrowing in on my target as rage fills my body.

"What the fuck was that today!?!" I roar, not even bothering him with a response as I approach. I want this fucker dead.

"Y-you told me to make an example of him. To callouse the hatchlings," he stammers, taking a step back as I circle around the desk in a few easy strides.

"I didn't tell you to have him killed by them!" I hiss, my large frame now looming above his, I look down into his squared face as he peers up at me.

"T-that w-was for her own g-good! S-she needed the experience!" He attempts to retreat but I follow until he finds himself pressed into the scratchy fabric wall any further and he will fall through it. Rage pulsates through my body as her broken face hysterical and tear stained fills my mind. He. Hurt. My. Woman.

A single hand snaps forward to grab him by the throat, lifting him a few inches off the ground until his eyes meet mine. Rough hands scratch at mine as he chokes and coughs, fighting for the air that is restricted by my own hand as it crushed his windpipe.

"You EVER go near Tushinosa again and I will PERSONALLY, see your head on a platter. You forget your place, Sargent. Remember who it is that allows you to run this camp and keep that hideous head on your shoulders." I release my hold and watch as the great Sargeant crumples to the ground, his hands going up to his neck as he wheezes desperately for air.

"I- I apologize for my transgressions. It won't happen again."

"Oh, I know for a fact that it won't. This is your final warning. You won't like what comes next."

His eyes widen as he peers up at me. He knows fully well that I have the ability to follow through on such a threat and that I wouldn't blink an eye in doing so. He also knows that I wouldn't face any repercussions from the aftermath.

"Y-yes, Sir," he chokes.

"I'm glad we can agree... Now, this is what's going to happen..."
