Earlier in the day Dahlia told Becca to go and meet her in the clinic to see her baby in an ultrasound. Sadly Becca couldn't see her baby.

Dahlia mentioned that it might be a bit early to see the baby.

It also could have been that the sonogram machine works best when the mother is a bit far along in the pregnancy.

Maybe in a few more weeks they could try again.

Dahlia felt bad that Becca couldn't see her baby. She felt disappointed in herself; she thought that this could be something that she was good at in this strange place that looked like home.

It has been hard for everyone in this place that's a bit like home.

Dahlia has been struggling with finding her purpose. Before the trip her only goals were graduating and going to college.

She had everything ready.

Her planner was full with specific details she wanted to do, but now all of that was thrown in the trash. There's no college here; there's no graduating.

Dahlia didn't know what to do until she started to focus on Becca's pregnancy. That was something she could learn, something she could do research about.

In a weird way it calmed her down and made her feel like things were back to normal, like they were back home. But now, she feels defeated.

She was in her room on top of her bed, looking at the ceiling.

What is she good at if it's not learning, reading and being boring? Who is Dahlia Jenkins without that. What else does she have? So many questions Dahlia didn't have the answer to.

Having so many thoughts in her head, Dahlia decided to go to sleep.

Maybe if she's well-rested, she can think better and help out more.

"Change, we are going out," Harry said, walking into Dahlia's room like he owns the place.

Dahlia was getting used to the way Harry would just enter her house and her bedroom without even knocking. "Where are we going," Dahlia asked, closing her book and looking at him with a smile.

"It's a surprise. Now go change." He was beaming with excitement.

Dahlia looked at him suspiciously, he was acting strange, and he would avoid looking at her face. "Fine but leave so I can change." She got out of her bed, placing her book down. He rolled his eyes but left the room, closing the door behind him.

Dahlia walked to her closet and went through her clothes, seeing what she was going to wear.

Harry didn't say anything about what they were going to do. She didn't want to overdress, but with the clothes she had in her closet, that was impossible.

After five minutes, Dahlia decided to wear high-waisted ripped jeans and a Long Sleeve Notch-Neck Cropped Shrunken Tee.
