As the night grew, everyone made their way into the lounge room to spend more time with each other. Vinnie however, was kept in the kitchen, forced to clean up as he came down to dinner late. Kat thought she would help him out though, and while some people thought she was just being nice, it was mainly because she wanted to spend time getting to know him. Much like Kouvr, Kat believed that Vinnie would also be one of the only other people she saw herself genuinely becoming friends with. She liked the fact that he was just relaxed on social media, and made content that he enjoyed without stressing out if he gets million of views or not. She liked that they had that similarity between them.
With Vinnie drying the dishes he had just washed, Kat helps out by placing the ingredients away and wiping down the tables. Since they started cleaning, the two only really interacted when she needed help trying to find where to put things. Although it seemed a little awkward, Kat didn't mind the quietness. Or at least that's what she told herself, because she didn't want to admit to herself that she was too shy to start a conversation with someone she's been admiring online. Thankfully for her though, she didn't have to start it.
"Can you come help with some of these?" Vinnie asks with a bit of a chuckle, putting everything down to look over at her. Turning to face Vinnie, the two make eye contact, the girl immediately feels her heart jump a little. Yet for what reason, she wasn't sure.
"Yeah, no issues," Kat smiles at him, putting down the spray and wipe on the table where she sat with Kouvr and Alex. Kat makes her way over to him, passing the massive kitchen island and grabbing an extra tea towel. She began to grab some of the dishes Vinnie had passed towards her, standing on one side of the sink with the taller boy on the other. Kat moves her eyes towards the plates on Vinnie's side, and went to grab one to help him out like he had asked. However, on her way to taking a plate, the two's hands collide – catching Kat off guard.
"Oh... I'm sorry," Kat says nervously, looking up at Vinnie. While she had watched him on TikTok so many times, being this close to him felt different. Shuffling her sight over Vinnie's face, Kat felt herself falling into a trance as she recognised new features that she had never seen before.
His eyes were her favourite thing looking at him though, she liked that they slanted to the edges a little. It felt like she was being looked at like she was Bella from twilight, and with his plump lips Kat couldn't help but find herself feeling nervous when making eye contact with him. She thought his nose was pretty as well, and while it was big by the side, it was perfectly proportional. She liked that it was big on the side as well, she always had a thing for larger noses. While she loved the way he looked at her though, one of her favourite features about him was his two moles on his neck. She found them adorable. In the past she had always had a thing for unique features on someone, obsessed over them and made it clear that she loved them on someone. However she wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to tell that to Vinnie.
