PRESENT DAY, AMAZON

Narcisa sat on the ground by the river where Thena was in, holding the stone urn that Narcisa had  made for Gilgamesh's ashes. Druig stands next to her, she raises her hand and he pulls her up. "I - I, uh... you never said it back." Narcisa says. "Why? I mean it's okay, I understand why you don't say it, but why didn't you love me back?"

Druig looks at her, putting his finger underneath her chin and making her look at him. "You weren't a toy to me, you never were. I do love you Narcisa, I've been madly in love with you since the saw you, if anything I've been in love with you longer, since I saw you first."

Narcisa slowly turns to him, knitting her brows together. "You walked away from me Druig, you wouldn't even look at me after I told you."

"I was afraid, I thought we'll change and when I wasn't afraid and had the courage to see you, it was too late." Druig says, Narcisa goes to speak but he continues. "An opening at an art gallery, I talked to Lola."

Narcisa looks down, "She told me she spoke to guy that night and I thought I saw you but I didn't thin- I thought you didn't want to see me." She raises her left hand, wiggling her ring finger. "I'm not married."

"I gathered that," Druig says, grabbing her hand and intertwining his fingers with her's. "Why didn't you marry her?"

"You," Narcisa admits. "Thinking I saw you that night brought up some unfinished feelings." She pauses. "And there's the whole explaining that I'm immortal, un-aging, shooting rocks-"

"And minerals." Druig adds in.

Narcisa nods, "and crystals." She huffs slightly, her eyes glancing over to Thena. "It didn't feel right to marry her, I did love her," she looks Druig in the eyes. "But I never stopped loving you."

"Good," Druig says, squeezing her hand.

Sersi walks over to them, smiling at them. She looks over at Thena, Druig looking Sersi. "When I left, I thought about taking over the minds of every human on this planet. Violence, fear, creed,
all gone."

Sersi looks over at him, "Why didn't you?"

"Because, without their flaws, they wouldn't be human." Druig answers.

"Please Druig," Sersi pleads, looking at Narcisa for help. "you can't stay here anymore. These deviants are trying to keep us from killing their own kind. They have a conscience now, that makes them more dangerous."

"No Sersi, that makes them us." Druig says. "Eternals and deviants. Arishem's children. But you are asking me to take control of a mind of Celestial, I do not have that kind of power."

Narcisa clears her throat, "We'll need Phastos." She says, looking at Druig and Sersi, Sersi nodding in agreement.

"Well, good luck," Druig says. "He gave up on humans a long time ago."
