In the beginning....

...before the six singularities and the dawn of creation, came the CELESTIALS. Arishem, the Prime Celestial, created the first sun and brought light into the universe. Life began, and thrived.
All was in balance.

Until an unnatural species of predator emerged from deep space to feed on intelligent life - They were known as DEVIANTS. The universe was plunged into chaos.

To restore the natural order, Arishem sent ETERNALS - immortal heroes from the planet Olympia - to eliminate the Deviants.

Eternals had unyielding faith in Arishem until one mission led by the Prime Eternal, Ajak, changed everything...

5000 BC, MESOPOTAMIA

Narcisa stood with the others around the statue of Arishem in the Domo. "It is time," Ajak announces, the Eternals following and going to their designated spots.

Narcisa glances down at the drab grey gown she's wearing, ew, she thinks, scrunching up her nose. She leans her back against the wall, feeling someone's eyes on her, she tilts her head to the source and there they were - those blue striking eyes meeting her warm brown ones. Her grey robe transformed into a mixture of gold and silver armor with a matching headband on her head. As soon as she was done, she pushes herself off the wall, running her fingers through the ends of her hair, fixing the headband and whisking her hair behind her shoulders.

She watches from afar, the planet Earth they're heading too, she doesn't turn her head as someone stands next to her. "Narcisa." She introduces as she watches two others at the window, she was sure that was going to blow up.

"Druig." His voice says to her, it almost sending shivers down her slow - almost.

They don't look another but that doesn't stop the flirtatious smiles from forming on their face as they just stand in silence. This is going to be interesting, Narcisa thinks.

They arrive to Earth just as the deviants start attacking the villagers. Narcisa doesn't wait to get into the action. With a deviant about to attack a group of humans, she raises the rocks around her, fusing them into a gigantic mineral and using it to hit the deviant away just as Makkari moves the humans away from it. The two women wink at another as they walk past another.

Narcisa whips around the fused mineral back to her and breaks it apart into extremely sharp daggers and then sends them to the two deviants to push them off the cliff, using the ground underneath the sea, she raises a chunk in the air and uses it to quickly hit them repeatedly until they die, she sighs as she lets their bodies flop into the ocean.

The Domo becomes visible as the last of the deviants die and the others come out to join them. The villagers start getting ready to attack them with their wooden spears but Druig steps forward, using his mind control to call them down.

Narcisa and Druig look at another, the latter leaning towards her. "You looked nice out there."

She smirks, "I did, didn't I?" The two grin at another and they go join the rest of them.

The eleven Eternals stand with another, Ajak in the front.

A little boy walks forward to them, Ajak nods at Sersi who grabs a wooden dagger from the ground. The wooden weapon transform into a metal one, the Eternal handing it over to the boy.

PRESENT DAY, CALIFORNIA

A bright red vintage 1960's Ford Mustang convertible comes to a screeching halt at the red light, the late stop making a few cars from behind honk their horn but a freshly done manicured hand holds up the best finger a hand has at them.

Narcisa at times forget how ugh humans can be, getting mad over the tiniest thing that just made her ugh, like humans don't live long enough to be so stupid. The light finally changes to green and Narcisa didn't waste a second to have her Valentino studded stiletto press on the gas pedal. She speeds through the streets of Los Angeles, the Gucci bandana wrapped around neck lifting with the wind, her curls getting brushed by the wind as the fresh ocean breeze hits her neck. She parks her car along the side of the street, right in front of a Chanel store. She was in need of some new clothes, maybe shoes, and maybe purses... sunglasses too.

Narcisa has always enjoyed the lavish things on Earth, if she was going to be stuck at Earth for an indefinite amount of time until Arishem decided to get off his ass and let them go back home to Olympia, she was — a.) going to look good b.) get her hair and nails done by the best c.) get as many college degrees as she can, she might have been collecting degrees over the years for fun d.) forgot about him.

California was a bliss and bliss means not stressing over certain things like wanting to go back home, red lights, and still being in love with Druig no matter how hard she tries to forget about him with hookups.

She tried to form a relationship with someone, there was one girl that she thought maybe she could see an actual relationship with but her head always went back to him. Like his crooked smile, how his eyes would immediately find her, how she didn't mind that they did - oh!

There she goes thinking — she's in bliss!

Narcisa shakes off that feeling and grabs her YSL bag, grabbing the red Dior lipstick from inside it, she grabs her compact mirror and goes to touch up her lipstick just as an earthquake hits.

The sudden jolt from the quake makes her smear the bright red lipstick across her cheek and drop it in on her new white Prada dress. The earthquake ends and Narcisa raises her Marc Jacobs sunglasses to the top of her head and blows a piece of her hair out her face.

Her powers of controlling rock and minerals made her have a special connection to the Earth's core and the quake didn't feel natural. It wasn't just an earthquake like the one that occurred in San Francisco in 1906. Her bliss was over just like that.

"Fuck," Narcisa muttered under her breath.

Couldn't this have waited like another century?
