I found peace in the waters, serenity in the calmness of the waves, contentment in the warm breeze, amity with the sunrise and tranquillity in the sunset. If I were to decide, I would never leave this place, it has given me so much from the past days.

It has been days since I felt one with the island, it has been days since we all went here to relax, which means we only have a few more days left before we wave goodbye to the waves, before we witness our last sunrise and sunset here, and it's only days away, where we'd have to go back to our chaotic reality.

Along with that, it's been days since Nycho started bothering me even more, and I'm satisfied knowing he's also interested, which makes me want to know him a little more. Pushing him away was a challenge, a hard one. He won't give up, which made me fond of him.

While sitting on the bed, I tried to recall everything that happened when we met Nycho. Well, there's this one revelation that shocked me and Rox because we were the first to know, or maybe we were the only ones who knew because the others aren't really talking about it.

"So they own the hotel huh?" Rox says while we're in the lounge, it made sense though. I mean, isn't it obvious that they aren't normal guests here? They know every hotel staff, they know their way around and the people obey them and their orders. "It's not that shocking, right?"

"No. Yet... it's interesting." I said whilst staring at Rox. It made me curious, Why would he hide the truth right? Isn't he proud that he's one of the owners of the most famous beach hotel here in Siargao? "I'll tell you if I ever find out about more details... Excuse me, I have to go elsewhere."

There's this mini bar in the pool area so I went there to grab a drink and maybe relax around the pool, I don't know where everyone else went and Rox is with Korics so I stayed there to enjoy my time alone. Well, not until he appeared.

"Are you following me, Nycho?" I asked, he sat down on the chair in front of me and raised his hand to order a drink. The bartender smiled at him before giving him the drink for free, ah yes, he owns the place. "You intruded my alone time."

"I didn't come here for you." He says and I was taken aback, I felt embarrassed so I looked away, trying to avoid his stare. Why did I even say that? He sipped on his drink while I was just sitting there. "I wanted to grab a drink, but since you're here... let's just say I wanted to see you as well."

"How does it feel to have everything for free?" I suddenly asked, trying to start a conversation between us. "It must feel great, right?"

"It only feels great when you know you've been through shit before having everything you have now." He says while smiling at me. "Right now... It does feel great, because... I've been through shit."

"Everybody goes through shit, and some of us still stay there." I said firmly, he looks at me with curiosity in his eyes. "You can't really tell wether someone is doing well or is going through shit, because either way we still have to keep going 'cause we need to be strong."

"We need to be strong for the people around us..." He says and I nodded, we both smiled, thinking about our similarities and how we both view life. "I like you, I like you and how you think, Gaia."

"I think it's too early for you to say that Nycho," I said while looking at him, holding my glass on the right hand and slowly sipping on it. "You barely know me."

"You barely know me either, Gaia." He says and it made me think for a bit before laughing, he laughed with me as well. There was something in our conversations that made them more interesting and there was something in his eyes pulling me to know more. "You seriously think I don't know what you're doing?"
