Jana and I walked along the school hallway towards our classroom, a long quiz is at the top of my schedule board today and I'm beyond prepared, after how hard I studied for the past weeks, I know I'm ready to answer the questions. Jana, however, looks very anxious.

When we both entered, there were a few students sitting on their desks while going through their notes and some aren't here yet. It was still early though, as I sat down, I took my notes out and started to skim the important details I highlighted. Jana looked at me with an amused facial expression.

"What?" I asked her while holding my notebook, she rolled her eyes at me and started laughing. I placed my notebook down and gave her a blank stare, her laugh was so high pitched that it was starting to hurt my ears. "Jana, we're all busy reviewing, you're so noisy."

"Why are you even reviewing? You've been reviewing for weeks Vrylle, chill out!" She says while laughing, I slowly realized that she is right, I think I may have overdone my review sessions and I might be stressing myself out because of this. "See? You're not going to fail this test Vry, I doubt it. If anyone would surely fail between the both of us, it's obviously me, so please... relax!"

"It's better to go through the notes one last time!" I opened my notebook again and started to read the highlighted parts. I could hear Jana make hiss sounds and my peripheral vision can catch her shaking her head. She then grabs my notebook and puts it down, closing it. "Hey! What gives?"

"Are you doing this because you want to pass the test or... you're doing this so you could forget about someone?" She giggles, the first person to ever cross my mind after she said that was Nycho. Of course, it had to be him again. "Am I right? It looks like I am... It's written all over your face Vrylle, you're not a clever liar."

"Oh shut up, give that back." I said, pertaining to my notebook. She rolls her eyes and hands it to me. I placed my notebooks inside my bag instead, Jana was partly right, I already reviewed enough. I think I'm also doing that just to forget about him for a while. She was still laughing. "You better stop that Jana."

An hour passed by before everyone started settling in their desks, the other students arrived and it was finally time for our long quiz. It was somehow hard, but because I reviewed for weeks, it made it easier for me to classify majority of the questions there. The test went on for more than an hour, after that, we took breaks.

And as the day went by smoothly, I walked towards the parking lot to get my car. When I got there, I was surprised to see Nycho standing beside my car. After what happened back at my house, I never talked to him ever again even if he tried to reach out. I know I needed space and there's nothing he could do to stop me, although I do miss him and his presence a lot.

"Gaia, I'm sorry." He said, looking at me with guilty eyes. I sighed as I stared at him. "I was drunk, I'm sorry if I said rude words. I'm sorry if I'm using the fact that I was drunk as an excuse and I'm sorry for hurting your feelings. I'm sorry if I was a total piece of shit for treating you like that, and talking to you like that more than once. Please, talk to me."

I didn't want to respond, but seeing him like that pulled my heart strings, I couldn't take the distance between us even for one bit. I sighed and started to walk closer to him. If only he knew how much it hurt me when I heard all of those words from him, but in the end, I will always end up forgiving him. When will I ever learn to put my feelings first? I probably won't.

"Give me one good reason why I should forgive you." I said and he smiled at me for a while. "Just one reason, one good and valid reason is enough for me to forgive you and it better be acceptable."
