Jace is confirmed Herondale.

Actually, yesterday, the three of us had family dinner where Jace able to asked questions about his parents. Nana infer that Jace got his stubbornness from his dad, saying it really runs in the family while referring several times at me.

Jace is still learning to be comfortable calling Nana, Nana. Changing from 'Inquisitor' to 'Nana' is proven difficult but he already changed his name to Jace Herondale, adding him to the family hold.

The next day, he asked me to show him around the manor. He wanted to know more about our history that wasn't listed in the books.

"Home sweet home." I exhaled out as I jumped down the horse carriage that rode us from the Glass Palace to the manor.

Since Nana is busy with the Institute, it's just going to be me and Jace to be touring around the house.

"You okay?" I asked, noticing the odd look on Jace face as he gaze the main mansion.

"Yeah." he sighed, smiling while admiring the manor "It's just... the last time I was here, we had to clean the place."

I chuckled "I didn't realized this place is so big until we did the dirty work."

"It was really a bad idea, sneaking in here." said Jace, broadly smiling.

"It was your idea." I pointed out laughing, then I pat his shoulder "Come on."

Approaching inside the main, I heard heel footsteps and a voice of a familiar someone commanding attendants. Opening the door, a woman in her mid 30's turned to us.

"Maddison, welcome home." Mrs. Muller greeted so welcoming.

"Carla." I greeted back with a confused smile "I didn't know you'd be here. I thought we have the place all to ourselves."

"Uh, well, Inquisitor Herondale thought you might need a hand." she toned, professionally.

"And to make sure we don't burn the house down?" I remarked, pointing out the obvious.

Carla let out a slight laugh "I'm not at liberty to say."

Jace softly poked me from behind, getting my attention.

"Right. Uhm, Carla this is Jace Herondale, Jace this is Carla Muller." I introduce the two before I turn to Jace "Their family work for us for centuries."

"Hi, nice to meet you." Jace politely said, offering his hand for a handshake.

"You too. Inquisitor Herondale told me about you." Carla said as they shook hands "The only thing you need to know about me is I'm the House Manager of the manor. Your front contact whenever you come by to visit."

"Front... contact?" Jace questions, confused.

"Well, uhm... I'm your go-to associate for your faculty needs — breakfast, lunch, dinner menus, wine list, flower arrangement, changes in décor-- basically everything that involves the households."

Jace slowly turns to me with a stupid mocking smile on his face. That smile he has when so many sling taunting comments runs through his brain.

"Yeah..." I laughed, timidly "It's all about the fancy stuff."

"Hah." Jace smiled, cynically.

"Lunch should be ready at noon. I'll be around if you need anything." Carla stated before she left.

"Thank you." I said as she walked away.

"And here I thought Herondales are privilege enough." Jace mockingly commented "So, you have to give Carla a heads up every time you'll go home?"
