-Grace-

I don't understand anything.

Like I honesty don't understand anything that happened since we left for that time travel fiasco.

It doesn't make sense. We had already tried killing Dimitri but it didn't work. We tried everything. But somehow everything fell into place. We were just at the right place at the right time. Kind of ironic if you ask me. Usually Harry and I are in the complete wrong place at the worst possible time.

I'm just beyond grateful for whatever happened.

Something else that amazes me is that no time had passed when we left. When we got back it was still the same night and we had to explain to Niall why we didn't end up going hiking on the other side of the world.

Tonight Harry said we was taking me to a celebration dinner. He told me I needed to dress really nice. I don't really know why because we're just going to dinner but I didn't oblige.

"Hurry up, you're gonna be late!" Stacy called through the door.

"Relax I'm almost done," I laughed as I coated my eyelashes in mascara.

I swung the door open and slipped on a pair of black heels.

"Damn," Stacy grinned as she looked at me, "You look hot."

I grinned back and turned to look in the mirror. I had on a sleek black mermaid style dress that hugged me in just the right places.

"Ready?" she asked.

I nodded and we headed out the door. For some reason Harry wanted Stacy to drive me to wherever we were going.

"So where exactly are you taking me?" I asked as we pulled out onto the freeway.

"You'll see," she smiled without taking her eyes off the road.

After driving for about 30 more minutes the car came to a halt.

"Where are we?" I looked confusedly around at the deserted parking lot of an old abandoned gas station.

Without a word she handed me an index card with some writing on it.

Clue #1
You're probably wondering why you're here,
But soon it will all be clear.
You can look near and you can look far.
But what you're looking for is what fuels a car.

This should be fun. "Gas?" I asked.

"I don't know," Stacy shrugged, "Why don't you find out."

I hopped out of the car and maneuvered the best I could in my heels and dress. I reached a rusty old gas pump and looked around. Then my eyes landed on another index card.

I pulled it off of the pump and read it.

Clue #2
I see you found clues two and one,
but the fun has just begun.
You'll find the next clue,
in a place where they serve food.
(Hint: We shared spaghetti here last year)

I smiled at the memory of us sharing a plate of noodles Lady and the Tramp style.

I hopped back in the car, "Martino's Italian Restaurant."

She put the car in drive and accelerated back onto the freeway.

"Did Harry tell you where all of the clues lead to?" I asked curiously.

"That's classified information, ma'am," she faked a secret service voice and we both giggled.

We pulled up to the restaurant and I stepped out of the car. I walked through the door of the restaurant and looked around. It was mostly empty but a few of the tables were filled. I spotted the table we sat at last year and approached it. An index card was taped to it.

Clue #3
The next hint can be found,
in a place tucked away, safe and sound.
A mailman, you may see,
But look for postal box three.

The only place this could be is the post office.

"Where to next?" Stacy asked as I got in the car.

"Post office."

We arrived at the post office in about 20 minutes and I immediately got out of the car, eager to find the next clue.

Post boxes lined an entire wall of the post office. I walked to the very bottom row and spotted number 3. It was unlocked so I pulled it open. A single note card lay inside.

Clue #4
You will find your final hint,
at the restaurant, Mint.
Be there,
or be square!

This was probably the easiest clue yet. Not much to figure out. I happily walked out of the post office.

"The last place is Mint," I informed Stacy.

We drove across town to the restaurant. Now I see why I needed to dress so nice, seeing as Mint is one of the fanciest restaurants in Los Angeles.

"Have fun," Stacy grinned as a man in a tux opened my door.

I smiled back at her just before I was led through the front doors. A hostess led me up some stairs to a table on the secluded balcony.

"Is this table to your liking?" she asked politely.

"Yes, it's perfect," I took in the view.

The sun was just setting, leaving the sky a beautiful blend of pink, purple, orange, and blue. Lights were strung along the balcony railing and candles were scattered around the space and on the table, giving off the perfect ambiance. This truly was magical.

"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" I turned my head and my face immediately lit up.

I stood up out of my chair and wrapped my arms around him. I pressed my lips to his and we both smiled.

"You look absolutely stunning," he complemented as his eyes travelled up and down my body.

I blushed lightly and grinned, "You don't look too bad yourself."

He was wearing a black tux with a black bow tie and his hair was slicked back.

"This is so nice," I sipped on a glass of sparkling wine.

He was beaming,"Cheers to being curse free."

I raised my glass to his, "Cheers."

We enjoyed the food and we chatted for awhile. It was so special. I could not have asked for anything better than tonight.

After we had finished our meal, Harry stood up slowly. Before I knew what he was doing, he knelt down on one knee and pulled a small box out of his coat pocket. My hands involuntarily flew up to my mouth as I gasped.

"Grace," he began, "These past few years have been the best years of my life. So much has happened. So much has changed. I wouldn't of wanted to do any of it without you."

He paused, "I don't want to do anything without you. I don't ever want to be without you. I love you more than I can even comprehend. Will you marry me?"

"Yes," I choked out, on the verge of tears. He slid a beautiful shining ring on my finger.

We both stood up and he cradled my face with his hands. Our lips connected and I felt my everything around me disappear. It was just me and the most wonderful man in the world.

And he was mine forever.
