-Grace-
Dimitri's note frightened me a little, but I decided that I wouldn't tell Harry. I wanted so bad for him to get rid of the curse. I was definitely going to the ball with Harry. As long as we can get to the balcony and kiss at the right time, then everything will work out. At least I hope so.
I texted him like 10,000 happy birthday texts. I hope he likes his present.
I opened up my closet and admired the glimmering dress that Stacy had helped me pick out for the ball tonight. It really was beautiful. Stacy has insisted that she do my hair and makeup. I didn't decline.
"Wow this eye shadow would go perfect with your dress," Stacy squealed as she lined up her endless amount of makeup and hair supplies on the counter,"We should get started now."
I walked over to the counter and took a seat. Stacy began brushing, combing, straightening, curling, teasing and who knows what.
After like an hour, she stopped working on my hair and began tooling with my face.
"Ouch," I whined as some false eyelash glue hopped into my eye.
"Just keep your eyes closed and the glue will dry faster," she replied.
Finally she said, "All done! You can't look until after you get dressed. I want you to see the final project!"
I followed her orders and walked over to my closet to slip on my dress.
"Don't forget the shoes," she called from the other room.
I took them out of the box. Wow they're really tall. I don't know how I'm going to walk in these without falling on my face. I stumbled out of the room to the kitchen.
"Oh my wow!" Stacy squealed when she saw me, "You look like a princess, Grace."
I turned around to face the mirror. At first I didn't even recognize the reflection. Was this really me? My hair was in an elegant loose bun with perfect little curls hanging out in just the right places. My makeup was absolute perfection. She managed to cover up all of the imperfections and highlight all of the good features. My eyes really popped with the light smokey eye that completely went with my dress. I just stood there staring in awe.
"I did a pretty good job, didn't I?" she grinned.
"I don't even know what to say," I gaped at my reflection, "Thank you Stacy."
"No problem," she assured, "Your gonna have so much fun. You better get you some Harry!"
I laughed. But little did she know the real reason for us going to the ball.

I was not very happy to find a tux at my doorstep, but if it meant spending time with Grace and getting rid of the curse, then I was all for it.
I checked my phone to find a gazillion happy birthday texts from Grace. I smiled and replied a gazillion thanks you's.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Niall bellowed as he burst through the door.
"Why thank you," I returned, "So where have you been all night?"
"Uhh.. with Molly," he muttered.
"Ooohh," I smirked.

I looked at the clock. It was 6:30. I told Grace I would pick her up at 8:00. I decided that I would get ready.
I pulled out the dreadful tuxedo and put it on. I looked in the mirror. Hey, I actually didn't look too bad and the pants were actually long enough.
