           Chap 2: A death

As soon as she finished her work Cris headed home. On her way, she stop her car in front of a classic looking cafe. Enter the cafe she quickly spot a blonde hair woman and gave her a backhug. "Ellie!" she yell.

"Bitch you scare me" her bestfriend say. Cris sat in a sit in front of her. "Alright² i'm sorry, ok" she reply. Soon they talk about their days while waiting for their order to arrive. Suddenly a loud 'thump' could be heard from a transparent door of the cafe. Cris averted her chocolate brown eyes to the source of sound. Her happy face turn 180° pale.

"This is robbery! Stop moving and stay at your place!" three mask men point their gun. While the other two busy eyeing the people outside and inside the fattest one took this oppurtunity to take all the money. Suddenly he averted his eyes towards Ellie's diamond necklace and try to take it away. Much to his suprise Ellie actually fight back. She offer to give any other things but not the necklace.

Cris know her reason. That's necklace is a gift from Ellie's grandfather before he pass away. Seeing this the impatient robery point his gun in front of Ellie temple. Insticnt took the best out of Cris when she started using her material art to fought the robery. Little did she forget about the other robery that saw the situation and quickly shoot her a few times before she could even react.Seeing the situation that worsen the robery quickly run.

While other people we're calling for ambulance, Cris was layed on Ellie's thigh while try to comforting ber bestfriend. "Silly girl.. w-what are y-y-you doing huh..You act like wife for herr hus..band. Isn't i've..told before...that tear onlyy for...joy. Stop cry..ing". Seeing her bestfriend like that only ache Ellie's heart even more. Cris try to keep her eyes open although she know she can't hold on for any longer. Suddenly a memory flash in her mind like and old film.

Cris, remember no matter what happens never cry. It's only show your weakness.

"Mommy where's daddy?"
"He's already dead".
