Chap 1 : Useless

"I've read your academic report. You should know that I never raise useless daughter" a woman in her late forties throw a blue cover book with Hilliard's University emblem on it on her oak long table. Her eye menancingly eyeing a young girl in front of her.

"I.. i'm sorry mother. I'll try my best next time. Beside it's only one mark less that the first place. I don't think it's that bad-" the young girl try to defend herself but being cut by a hard slape on her face.

"Not that bad?!? Not that bad you say. Second place Cris!! Second place. Did you know what that's mean?! A failure. Whole this time because you always being the topper, scoring the highest, I reduce your study time from 6 hours to 5, giving you your own time by cancelling class that you should attend on every weekend, and give you a free time. But you prove me that it's can only be a distraction. From now on your schedule will back to the old one".

Cris know that she can't never denied her mother words. The only things she can say is 'i understand'. Her heart ache.

"Mr. Wah told me that you always faint lately and your health condition worsen. Take a rest after you done with your work" her mother, Madam Awkright told her.

Although only one sentence that's word can heal her broken heart and make she forget about her mother hurtful words earlier. Before she get out of her mother office she's being reminded once again "Remember Cris you're an Akwright and Akwright always lead not being lead. They only dominate not being dominate"
