Chap 5: Trial
As soon as I open my eyes, i'm unsuprisingly in a different place with my hand being tied up on my back. I was surrounding by a crowd that chattering and murmuring. In the middle of a crowd standing a couple that could be easily guess. 'That woman Mary and the King of a cheater, the crown prince huh.. look like that bastard William and Derrick also here. It will be a great show...' I sneer on the inside.
"Lady Isolabella de Cunninghum did you admit your fault by trying to kinnaping and killing Lady Brown?" the judge in front of me ask.
"I admit your excellency. But only the half of it"
"Oh..what do you mean?" The judge raise his eyebrow.
"Your highness, I admit that i'm involve in Lady Brown kinnaping but I never try to kill her. Your highness, may I give the explaination of everything?" Isolabella (Cris) give an apologetic look.
"Please proceed"
"I beleive that your highnes have only heard apart of this story and the crime that I made only from the other party. What about your highness hearing from my party. Hereby I will clear every misunderstanding. I hope that all of you here can become the witness for my innocence. The first accusation, I tried to kill Lady Brown. But everyone here she's standing without even a scratch. Everyone if I would really want to kill her would she still standing here? Lady Brown is it right?"
"Y-y-yes" Mary stutered.
"Nonsence why would Mary need to answers your question" the crown prince suddenly interuped. "Your highness the crown prince I hope you can give me some time before it's your turn" Isolabella said in a stern voice.
"Second accusation, i'm bullying Lady Brown because of a jealousy. Therefore I want to apologize"
"It's alright Lady Isolab-"before Mary could even speak Isolabella cut her "it's mabye my fault but everyone I want to ask all of you. If ever your fiance, husband or wife ever chea- being openly lovey-dovey in front of you with another man or woman I beleive that you will also feel furious as I am. So I want to ask all of you...have I really been wrong in the first place?"
Upon hearing Isolabella statement the crowd started murmuring once again. Half of them already on Isolabella side as well as the judge. Seeing how the table turn the crown prince slightly panic and say "your excellency, we need to quickly proceed with the punishment. This woman is trying to master mind everyone"
"Your highness, I beleive that Lady Isolabella can defend herself despite being the defendant. Lady please proceed" the judge ignore the glaring that the crown prince made.
Chuckle Isolabella answer "sure your highness. Lady Brown is it really my fault for 'taking care' of my own fiance. I beleive that Lady Brown know everything that I do is only to protect royal family, Cunninghum Dukedome and Lady dignity. I just doesn't want lady to be call 'home-wrecker', or more worst a $1μ7."
Hearing this the crown prince full of rage "you-"
"Your highness please refrain yourself"the judge said strenly.
"I apologize if my word had offend anyone. But your highness I only think all of this for you. As a future ruler of the kingdom I don't want any of you're people to think that your highness is incompetent and having a bad rumour all around. I apologize if I use the wrong way." Isolabella give a pity look that could make anyone sympaty.
Seeing the situation that not on their side the crown prince can only hold his anger. "Humm....to think about it once again it is prove that Lady Isolabella de Cunninghum didn't do any mistake that diserve death sentence punishment. But still there's a punishment for her at the charge of kinnaping.." the judge speak while rubbing his long beard.
"Your excellency if you give the permission may I punish myself properly for all of my wrong doing?"
"Please proceed"
"As an apologize for everyone especially Lady Brown and the Crown Prince Ashes Salvatore I, Isolabella de Cunninghum will break off our engagement in front of everyone and fully supporting the relationship between the two of you."
"Punishment accepted. Since everything have been clear out we will dismiss"
I can't see the crown prince reaction when someone suddenly approaching me and...
