All the times you have heard about Miya's, it's referred to as a restaurant. While yes, they do serve food. It's certainly way more lavish than a simple restaurant.
The main floor is a typical luxury restaurant, with a dimly lit bar to the left, and regular seating to the right. And two winding staircases, symmetrically placed at the entrance of the restaurant. Glistening chandeliers drape the middle area, with a pearly Venus statue centered in-between the staircases. Straight from the Roman Empire, the statue towers over the first floor. The goddess' head stopped right at the second-floor level railing.
"This way, Bonnie." Saeko drags you through the foyer. Behind the statue is the glass elevator leading to your final destination.
The elevator floor beneath you begins to vibrate the closer you reach the level. Two male guards immediately greet you as the elevators open, both of them, black suits and guns to match latched on their hips.
"Sup Moe, Sup Curly." Saeko steps off the elevator, unfazed by their piercing facial expressions, underneath their facial ink.
She walks right past them, down a long hallway, stopping at the white double doors in front of her.
"It's like Vegas, okay?" She gave you a pre-warning at her apartment as she applied smokey eyeshadow to your eyes. "Have fun, let loose, but if you see something out of the ordinary, no, you didn't. Okay? It's not a typical frat party."
What happens at Miya's, stays at Miya's.
Like frat parties, the itching smell of weed fills your nose, the foggy stench, and strobe lights blind you as you walk into the party.
There is a dance floor, caged dancers swinging to the music to the left of the bar. On the right side is the lounging area with white smog of smoke puffing into the air, glass tables decorated with white dust, cash, and pills. Suit-wearing men, some with ink peeking through their suit jackets, all of them, without a doubt in your mind, have numerous concealed weapons hidden underneath their attire.
Your eyes glance the room to the furthest left of the party area, the door is slightly open, as multiple people in suits keep going in and out of the room. Guarded by another set of Moe and Curly at the door.
"Damn, Scarlett." You hear Saeko say as you are busy examining the mysterious room. "Oh, come on, baby, are you still mad?"
"UGH!" Your leather-wearing manager huffs, seeing the crimson woman stomp away from her. She was just as described, stunning. Her strapless dress shows her perfectly placed cherry blossom tattoos, swerving in and out of her collar bones. And those siren eyes that she uses to lure in her prey before stinging them with her poison.
"B. are you good by yourself for a few?" Saeko asks.
Truthfully, no. But also, Saeko was trying to fix her relationship, the one she compromised by sleeping with another person. You can handle being alone for a few minutes.
"Go, Saeko." You nod.
"Don't eat anything given to you by anyone. ESPECIALLY the stuff that looks like candy. I mean, you can if you want to. It's just strong stuff, kay?" She giggles.
You roll your eyes as she walks away, giggling at her somewhat overprotective older sister vibe.
Dancing bodies, a mix of sweaty musk, sweet perfume, and alcohol surround you. The ground shakes from the dancing people as you try to maneuver your way to some fresh air.
After all the shoving and handsy people, you finally make your way to the bar area.
"Is there bottled water?" You politely ask the woman, like Scarlett, she wore a skin-tight dress, black and low cut. Her hair was shaved on one side, exposing a display of cherry blossoms tattooed on her scalp.
