The sun created a haloing light around his figure, chirping birds circling around him, singing as you walk closer. Like a rainbow-filled daydream, he rested against a black SUV, enjoying the warmth of the summer sun on his skin.
Right under the Delicious Delight sign, just like the first time. His face looks up into the sunny skies, patiently waiting for you.
deja vu
He was facing away from you, his signature grey color suit covering his broad shoulders, showing off his neatly styled brown hair.
Your heart begins to race, your legs becoming heavier the closer you reach him. A smile forms on your face as you consider the possibility.
Is it really him?
The man turns to face you as your footsteps come closer. "Oh" leaves your lips as you recognize the person leaning against the car.
"Osamu, Good morning." It was a good face—just not the one you were secretly hoping for.
"What's up, Bonnie?" He smiles at you. It was a strange sensation, almost a sadness when you realized it wasn't the person you were hoping to see. "You're not getting too lonely, are ya? Without my brother?" He sincerely says, almost an innocence to his tone, making the pit in your stomach grow.
"Mr. Miya, I have some fresh bread. Please have some." You hear Mrs. Hashimoto motioning Osamu to enter DD's.
"I'm curious. How did you know it was Samu? And not Tsumu standing here?" The man's voice startled you, unaware of the figure standing there until he spoke. He was leaning against the side of a building with a cigarette in his hands. "Oh, Suna, I didn't see you here."
His piercing gaze seemed much more intense than when you first met him. No smile attached to his face as silently he continued to smoke, waiting for your answer.
There wasn't a logical explanation. You did think it was Atsumu until he turned around. Osamu's eyes are stunning, no denying it, but the warmth Atsumu's gives you when you look at them wasn't there. "I guess it was just a feeling? Even though I saw Tsumu, it didn't feel like it was him? Doesn't make sense..."
"Trust me. I totally understand. Even though it's the same face, when I see Tsumu's face, it makes me want to barf." Even though he let out a single laugh with his words, his demeanor remained the same. Almost like he pretended to laugh for the sake of the conversation.
"This is so much bread, Mrs. Hashimoto!" Osamu stumbles out of DD's carrying bags of goodies. "Bonnie, you must come over and have dinner with us sometime." Samu smiles.
"Sure, I'll stop by Miya's one of these days." A vague response, short of a rejection. He has the same face, yet looking at Osamu almost makes you feel guiltier than when you lie to Atsumu.
His friendliness and his happiness are almost blinding.
"No, silly, to your home. Not Miyas! It's a little ways away, but Rin will drive, right, babe?"
Suna's emotionless face remained the same, neither bothered nor concerned about your existence.
"Sure, baby. Anything you want." His face immediately changed upon looking at Samu and his fluffy brown hair. Genuinely smiling at his boyfriend. Like he would do anything for him, just to see him happy.
Helping his partner inside the vehicle, Rin looks at you before entering the driver's side, "Well, it was nice seeing you. Again."

"Ugh, this suit is so uncomfortable! Why did you make me wear it?" Samu huffs as he enters the SUV with the bag full of treats. "Because you look hot." Rin grabs hold of his partner's cheek, sliding his lip piercing along Osamu's lip. "Rin the bread!" Samu gasps, even though his actions were short of forgetting the bread himself, as he immediately melts with the feeling of the silver tongue ring entering his mouth.
