-Kie pov-
After a few days on the island me and the Pogues had sort of managed to get food, some semi clean water and we now know our way around a whole 1 mile of the island... so as it turns out we haven't done much but we're just living life.
It was around 6pm based on the sun and moon angles, so we were all sitting around the fire, JJ carving some stick to make it sharp, Cleo sat down next to him with a coconut in her hand.
"Where'd u get that?" The blond asked turning his attention towards her,
"Not telling it's gonna be my secret place..." JJ gasped as she continued, "...for coconuts!" JJ's hand moved to his heart pretending to be severely hurt.
I don't know what it was but seeing them banter like that, almost in a flirty way made this feeling grow in the pit of my stomach.
"So Cleo," I said interrupting them, "Sarah and John B told me that u and ur old buddies stole the gold from them but the cops still took it..." Cleo slowly nodded and gave a small smirk, JJ looked at me and shook his head in confusion, I shrugged and turned away.
"So anyway," JJ gave me a look, "How did u end up working for Terrence?" He asked her,
"Well I-" she started but I soon cut her off,
"U know what I would love to stay for uh, this," I said gesturing at them, "but I think I'm gonna go," I stood up and heard them laughing before JJ said,
"U going to find me a coconut?" I flipped him off before I walked away.
-JJ pov-
Kie just flipped me off, she had never done that. Of course she's flipped off people around me before but she never would flip me off. I thought nothing of it but that was before I saw her talking to Sarah, Kie looked like she was tearing up and I saw Sarah give me a cold glare before turning her attention back to Kiara who was now walking off further down the beach. Something was up and I wasn't just gonna sit here.
"...so I he just invited me to start working for him after that," Cleo said bringing my mind back, I laughed hoping that she didn't notice that I hadn't heard a word of her story,
"Wow now that was funny," she gave me a confused look, knowing I wasn't fully paying attention. I sighed before saying,
"Sorry I got to go," I said patting her shoulder as I got up and started walking after Kie,
"Where do u think ur going Maybank?" Sarah said stepping in front of me,
"Sarah I don't want to hurt you but I swear to god get the fuck out the way," she hesitatingly moved and I carried on after Kie.
