DECEMBER 31
NEW YORK

"I'm out, I'll see y'all at the party."

Chris looked at me then sunk down into the couch. "Where you going? To meet that police officer?"

"Chris I understand what you feeling, but this way I keep the entire NYPD by the balls."

"Right, or she'll have you by the balls. I'm just saying it's not smart, but you gon' do what you wanna do anyway."

"You're right," I smiled and walked out the door.

I sat in my car with more weight on my shoulders than ever. I still had a business to run, despite me running around with the police. This wasn't some high school bullshit where they were only doing shit to boast on socials and impress girls. This shit ran deep. Business is family, and family is business.

Pulling myself together, I called Officer Onika. That's what I had her saved in my phone as anyway.

"Hello? Who's this?"

"Now that's disrespectful. You don't even have my phone number saved?"

"What exactly would I save your number as? Dealer number one?"

"No, because I told you I don't deal. You come up with your own theories though right?"

"I only go off of what I see. I'm an officer, I'm trained this way."

"Are you working?" I asked her, chuckling. This girl was funny. She just would not back down. It was bad for her because I refused to go down without a fight. I refused to let my family go down, period.

"No, I vividly remember being invited to something by this woman who continues to stalk me."

"This woman, she keeps stalking you?"

"Not that hard to believe. I've had a couple of stalkers in my lifetime."

"Dress nicely and come find me, but not in that ugly ass police car," I ordered her then hung up the phone.

I knew she would appreciate me not asking for an address, but I did it for me mostly. Now she wouldn't ask me about an address ever. Regardless, she wouldn't get one. I just had to let her know.

In Manhattan, I was doing 100 on the streets, swerving through the tight traffic. It was risky, but that was the point. She recognized this Maybach and I knew she would be the one to pull me over, even without that ugly ass car. Like she said, she was trained this way.

I had to admit, it was fun playing around with the police.

Those lights made me smirk and look back, seeing a matte black Cullinan. Finally she was driving in something that wasn't embarrassing.

I slowed down and pulled over, watching her through my mirrors.

She was wearing a black and brown Fendi coat with a purse to match, black heart shaped sunglasses, and high Fendi boots. Her hair was blonde and pink, striped throughout every follicle.
