I crouched in the parked helicopter. I was holding Kira's weapon, the Death Note, which was responsible for over 230,000 deaths. Shinigami.. Death Note... Criminals.. That's it. There must be two Death Notes, there has to be! Maybe more! I looked down and saw that the Death Note was gone. When I glanced to my right, Light was staring at the shinigami, mouth gaped open. "Li-" Before I could even say his name, Light let out a blood-curdling scream. It seemed to shake the entire world. He looked so terrified. I had to hold back from hugging him to make him feel better. He's probably got the power of Kira back... I thought sadly. My time is coming, and I was not scared. I was almost relieved. Relieved that I could die to not suffer through the pain anymore. Relieved that I could die at the hands of my rival, knowing I lost, but most of all... Relieved that I could die at the hands of the one I love. Light.. Kira.. I let my feelings get the better of me.
