"It's been a while since I've last seen such an enjoyable play!" Lucy stretched in her seat.
Calling over a server, she handed him a gold coin which quickly disappeared into the nameplate which served as his identification card and source of payment, depositing itself directly into his bank account which could be accessed through the Heartfilia Conglomerate.
"Express my thanks to the writer and actors."
The server's eyes lit up and he bowed his head low, expressing his sincere gratitude and relaying the payment order to all those who had made the play successful and enjoyable in the eyes of the young lady who they wished to serve more than anyone else. Having received the tip, the actors and all the other people involved in the play looked up at her with beaming eyes as they gave a low, deep bow, expressing their gratitude. They were more than honored to have performed a play for her and to hear her having enjoyed it so.
"Considering how weak the prince was, I was sure he would fail in his rebellion," Sikandar remarked. "But to think he was that intelligent..."
"The swordsmanship could've been improved on though," Masud noted with a serious face.
"Nevertheless, I can't believe he hid his swordsmanship skills all along," Wu Kong leaned back and grinned. "His uncle underestimated him a little too much."
"Hence, his downfall," Kuugen laughed, entertained with the sophistication and detailed plot just as much as the others were.
"More than that, did you see the outfits? Especially the Queen's and the prince's lover's?" Tomoyo's eyes were brimming with inspiration. "It was absolutely gorgeous! With a few simple touches here and there, we could make it into a goddess-like dress suitable for Lucy-sama!"
Kaede nodded his head in agreement. "We should experiment with the cloth from the Reim Empire. Tomoyo."
"My schedule is free!"
The two grinned for when it came to designing, none could compare to their passion or talent for it. Their skill was undeniable and over the years they've spent designing clothes for Lucy, themselves, the retainers, the Generals, the Royal Family, and even the uniforms for the servants and soldiers, no one could match them anymore. There was a reason why whatever clothes Lucy wore would become the next sensation. With Lucy as their muse, they were in an entirely different league of their own.
"Were you even paying attention to the plot?" Wu Kong gave a mocking laugh.
"Of course," Tomoyo crossed her arms. "I just find it stupid how the lover would actually just go and kill herself simply because of the actions of one man. It's like her whole life was centered around love and nothing else. She didn't even take the time to think of herself and what was best for her."
Ja'far nodded his head in agreement, unable to comprehend why she had such a decision. "If she so wished, she could've found another suitor and obtained the love that she wanted."
"But, sometimes, the love we have for one person outweighs any other love," Sinbad spoke up. "For them, we easily lose ourselves and fail to think logically. In the end," he reached out his hand and took a lock of Lucy's hair, a fond, endearing smile upon his lips and in his eyes, "the result is none other than a fool who's fallen much too deep to turn back."
Lucy stared at him and the others gazed at the two, the affection in Sinbad's eyes clear as day as Lucy remained oblivious to it all for she was not the type to understand such romantic words that were said indirectly.
"You," Tomoyo stared at the scene with dead fish eyes, "must you really flirt every second?"
"Of course," Sinbad answered without hesitation, flowers blooming around him, his eyes gazing only at Lucy.
