"Okay, Dad," You held your hands up, when you saw him striding towards you, "I know you're angry,"

"Y/N, listen to me," he came to a stop in front of you.

"But I swear, we figured out how to fix it, and its working!"

"Y/N,"

"And I'm so, so, sorry to leave you dangling and webbed up—"

"Honey, are you okay?" he interjected in concern, reaching forward to hold your face and check for injuries.

"What?" you stared at your father, expecting to receive a full blown lecture.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" his eyes rested for a few seconds on the bleeding cut on your cheek, before scanning for more.

Sure, Stephen was angry at you, but he'd keep the promise he made to Jasmine, that is to take care of you, no matter what.

"Yeah, no, no. I'm okay," you nodded in coherently, "Nothing to worry,"

"Good," he let out a breath he had been holding before his expression dropped, "You're grounded. For a month. No Mystic Arts books to pass the time," he added importantly.

"Wha— Are you kidding me—No!" you exclaimed, "Why— okay, how about this—" you caught his attention, "If I don't tell Wong about you being defeated and trapped in the Mirror Dimension for around 12 hours, can I get my punishment reduced to a week?"

Stephen narrowed his eyes at you in thought, "Two weeks,"

"Deal,"

You both high-fived each other in agreement, turning around and walking side by side.

"Let's get this mess over with now," Your father spoke in determination.

"Y/N!" Y/N 2 landed in front of you and your father on the catwalk, "Oh," she noticed Stephen, "Hey —dad," she greeted him awkwardly.

"Oops," Y/N 3 winced from the side, causing your father to turn towards her, "I thought you were in the Grand Canyon. How'd you get out? Did Ned let you out? Like by mistake?"

"What—" Stephen mouthed soundlessly, snapping his head to you for an explanation.

"Well, you see," you gave him a nervous laugh.

Am orange light flickered and a portal opened up in the highest point of the scaffolding, and Stephen walked out of it with a face that clearly said that his patience was running thin.

Peter was already at the top and hurried to explain, pulling off his mask, "Strange, we're so close!"

"Skip it!" Strange seethed, "I've been dangling over the Grand Canyon for twelve hours!"
