Chapter 1

Brooke's POV

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I sighed first day of my senior year.

Great!

I'm not too excited but then again I am. Let me introduce myself, I am Brooke Hayes, 5'9, AP student, Captain of the girls varsity basketball team, I'm half African American half white. I don't date guys because I don't have the time, besides it's not like i'm pretty enough. I have long naturally curly, but I straighten it most of the time, I have hazel eyes, full pouty lips, nice curves, and I'm mixed.

Anyway I got in the shower, used my favorite body wash and washed my hair with kiwi strawberry shampoo, got out turned on the straightener and went to put on my nike outfit. I went back into my bathroom to do my hair and makeup, once I was done with that, I put my Jordans on, grabbed my gym bag and backpack and headed downstairs.

I smelled bacon so I quickened my pace because I LOVE BACON! I entered the kitchen and was greeted by my family. My dad George, my mom Gia, my twin brother and sister Mackenzie and Jaxon. I went over hugged my my parents and kissed my mom's growing belly, yes I'm gonna have another little brother or sister, kissed Mackenzie and Jaxon on the head. "Morning everybody" I said.

"Morning Brooke" My parents replied.

"Morning Brookie" The twins said.

"So what's your schedule for the day babygirl?" My dad asked.

"Well after school I have practice, and then I planned on taking the twins to get Ice Cream." I replied while cheesing at the twins.

"Okay honey, what time will you be home?" My mom questioned.

"At about 8:00?" I answered.

"Okay well then you kids be safe." My mom said.

"Okay I will. I gotta go, don't wanna be late for my first day of my senior year! Bye everyone love you guys!"

"Bye Brooke" Everyone said.

I got into my truck, yes I said truck. I never wanted a small car, I wanted a truck so I got a truck for my 16th birthday, speaking of birthday's, mines is in two months and I'm so excited! I'm gonna be 18!

Five minutes later I pulled into my school's parking lot, ah good to be back at Rushmore High. Sike! I just want this day to be over with. Without thinking I bump into someone and that person must be made of bricks because I fell.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention." I rushed out.

"Yeah sorry, I wasn't watching either, are you okay?" He says while helping me up.

When I finally notice who it is my eyes widened and I blushed instantly. Oh my goodness it was Jordan Bradley.
