Jordan's POV
As I watched Brooke talk to Brittany the way she did, I felt even
more attracted to her. I love a girl that protects what is hers. I did catch when she called me babe too. As we walked out of school, I couldn't help but bring it up.
"Babe huh? I like that."
She stopped walking while I kept going.
"Yeah well don't expect me to keep on saying it." She snapped.
"Dang, I was really hoping you would."
She just laughed at me and got in the car when I unlocked the doors, and we drove off.
Brooke was turning stations trying to find a good song when she turned to a station and Worst Behavior by Drake was on. I stopped her before she could change the station.
"Nuh-uh girl this my song." I said turning it up.
"You listen to this kind of music?" She asked looking at me as if I had three heads.
"Of course I do babygirl." I said smirking at her before I started rapping along to the song.
We pulled up to Chipotle and hurried inside. We both pretty much ordered the same thing. I payed for our food, of course Brooke and I argued over who would pay but I won in the end.
As we ate we talked about the upcoming game, what we liked and didn't like. We had a lot of things in common. I told a few jokes and she laughed at all of them. She looked so pretty when she laughed.
Soon we had to head back to school. On our way back Brooke got quiet. When I turned the car off we just sat there for a minute.
"What's wrong Brooke?" I asked breaking the silence.
"I'm just now realizing what I said earlier. What are people gonna think? What are they gonna say? I never should have said anything, I never should have left with you!" She exclaimed nervously.
Before I could say anything she left the car and took off towards the school. The only person I could blame for this was Brittany.
Brooke's POV
I was having a great time with Jordan until it was time to go back to school. The ride back gave me a chance to think about what happened earlier and I realized I'm an idiot. Brittany is going to kill me! What will people think? I'm pretty sure news has traveled.
I guess I was so deep in my thoughts I didn't notice we were back at school.
"What's wrong Brooke?" He said snapping me out of my thoughts. I frowned noticing he called me Brooke instead of babygirl.
"I'm just now realizing what I said earlier. What are people gonna think? What are they gonna say? I never should have said anything, I never should have left with you!" I exclaimed.
I don't know what I was thinking, I'm not one for drama. I needed to get away from him like now. So I did thing the only thing I could think of at the moment.
Run!
I walked to my last hour class which was art. As soon as the bell run the teacher started class.
"Okay class it's a free draw day, so feel free to create whatever you want. No stick figures!" Ms. Grant said. Everyone except me groaned at the no stick figures.
I love art, I love drawing even if I'm just doing it carelessly on the side of a piece of paper.
I put my headphones in and turned on Latch by Disclosure feat. Sam Smith and began to draw. When I'm drawing I forget the outside world and just focus on my drawing.
