I was having a nap in the couch when I heard the door open revealing Josh and Alex. He was back from school but he did look happy he whispered a good evening underneath his breath and went straight to his room.
That's not the Alex I know something is definitely wrong
Raising my head to Josh I question him " what's wrong with my baby"
" I don't know he refused to talk and when I picked him up he was looking sad and down, I tried to ask but you know Alex he is going to say he is fine when the true is he not" he replied
" ok I did lunch you can heat it up I soon be back" I said and head straight to Alex's room .
Entering his room I saw him laying on his bed throwing a ball at the ceiling. For a five year old he act mature
" Baby what's wrong You seems unhappy today and you know you can talk to me about anything" I started
" mommy it just that" he said
" what's it is baby"
" Mommy all the other kids at school have a dad but I don't and they are saying I'm fatherless" he said sadly
" Who told you such thing baby you're not fatherless you have a father he is just absent st the moment" I said angrily who could have told my boy such a thing when he is definitely not fatherless
" One boy at school Tommy he said nobody have ever seen my dad so I'm fatherless" he answered, Jesus do a bunch of Five years old go around being trouble markers already
"Baby you are not fatherless you have a father and he loves you so much and he cares for you but he is just too busy to meet you but I promise You next week you will see him" I tried to tell him.
." You promised I will meet my daddy next week" he question I just pray what I said is truth
" Yes baby and daddy will be happy to see you now fix your face and give mommy a hug" I said
" ok mom love you" he said and hug me
" love you too baby" I said
" And guess what now we are visiting grandma and grandpa next week" I said with a smile
" Really" he questioned with a big smile on his face
"Yes we going to America baby" I said
" Yes Yes" he jump on the bed
" ok baby calm down" I said
" We going to visit my grandparents today so pack your bag you're staying at their house today as I go to work and Josh will not be here" I told him
With that said we got ready and went off to my grandparents the ones that help with raising Alex.
