mombie dearest ❝does anyone around here mind their own business? seriously? what is wrong with you people?❞
Regulus didn't know what to think.
"My dead bio-mom is back and you have nothing to say?" Lizzie questioned him.
Regulus opened his mouth to reply, but he couldn't find the right words. "Well, I did have a friend. Wait, Derek's too old to be considered my friend. Someone I know once had their uncle resurrected by a banshee. Then there was also the time that the Wild Hunt brought my mom back. "
"Forget it," Lizzie told him. "You're just rambling to get me to change the subject."
"Is it working?"
Lizzie didn't get a chance to answer because Thea had barged into the room, "I could be a better boyfriend than Landon, right?"
"Totally," Regulus nodded. Lizzie just stared between them before speaking up, "You like Hope?"
"Yes Lizzie, pretty much the entire school, but Hope knows that."
Lizzie shrugged, "Is she the reason you agreed to go on that trip to Mystic Falls High?"
Thea nodded, "Since when are you two friends?"
"Since I told her about my dead ex-girlfriend," Regulus answered.
"You told her, but you didn't tell me?"
"I like her better."
Thea gasped in mock betrayal, "I can see where my presence is not wanted. However, please tell me you have something to wear for later."
Lizzie smiled at the blonde vampire and said, "Why do you think I'm here? Someone had to get him ready. "
"I'm right here," Regulus reminded.
Lizzie threw clothes on his bed, "You're wearing that if you show up, now if you'll both excuse me, I have to finish getting ready."
Thea laughed and once Lizzie was out of earshot she turned to Regulus, "You like her."
"Of course, I like her dumbass, we're friends," Regulus answered.
"No, I mean you like like her."
"What are you 10?"
"I'm not hearing any denial!"
Regulus sighed, "I don't like her that way. I gave up on love a long time ago. Lizzie Saltzman and I are simply friends, and that's all we'll ever be. Besides, I'm pretty sure she has a massive crush on Raf."
