FROM HECTOR'S POV

"Dude just put something on and let's go. I don't wanna miss the twins getting drunk." Hector's roommate is practically screaming with one foot already outside the door and eager to get to the Legendary Bonfire Fest.

Every year after the finals, their Uni clubs plan a grand unified party before they all head home. Two whole days, well, technically a whole day plus the next drunken morning full of loud music, lots of hidden booze and a whole lot of making out while the chaperones desperately try to keep things at a PG-13 level.

The campus patrol just looks the other way as long as no one gets pregnant from all the partying. And the chaperones are usually geeky enough to bored anyone to sleep.

But this year is a bit different. The nerdiest bunch isn't joining since their exams were over a week before and they all just left for home. Some of the colleges in the Uni have also put out a notice against joining the Bonfire Fest and only a few colleges allowed the madness to happen, naming it The Last Escapades Before Adulting, especially for the graduating batch.

"Just throw on that stupid red shirt you like. You wear is so often that people might not recognize you without it" Hector's roommate screams while throwing the shirt towards him. "I'm going to find those twins before anyone else makes a claim.".

The Twins were from the Drama Club and loved role-playing. Of course all the straight guys wanted to play along. And it didn't hurt that they always looked and smelled like a treat, Vanilla and Chocolate to be exact.

"I'll catch up with you at...the..." Hector looks up at the empty doorway and sighs. He is going to miss all this until the next semester starts. Going home seems like a torture for him. With a very cranky step-dad, an overworked mother and a misunderstood sister who's potentially are wasted in the household, Hector never looks forward to the long staycation.

"Hey you!" says Rebecca, leaning on the doorframe, a lipstick stained smile on her face.

"Hey Becks!" says Hector while still looking at her from head to toe. She is wearing a beautiful black dress that Hector has never seen draping her form. A faux leather jacket in one hand and a pair of leather boots that could make any guy weak for her.

"Where have you been hiding this all year?" Hector asks with a single raised brow playfully teasing Rebecca into a shy smile.

"Someone helped me shop. Speaking of someone, I want you to meet Jim." Rebecca introduces a very pretty boy to him, probably a freshman, he thinks, and very very pretty.

"Jim is a freshman from my college and he has been helping me pick out new outfits for our time home. I think my family might not pull my leg about my outfits anymore."

Rebecca goes on and on about how this Jim guy has been a great friend and how he is always helping her out and how fun it is to hang out with him. There is a hint of jealousy in his eyes as he shakes hands with the freshman until he remembers Sam, the senior he met when he himself was a freshman and how Sam shaped him in a positive way. So he pushed the irrational thoughts behind and tries to be polite with the sudden new addition to their group.

"Thanks for letting me tag along. I don't really have many friends here so it gets kinda boring." says Jim with a seemingly polite tone but Hector can't trust him. He seems off, like a troublemakers wrapped in a pretty facade. Very, very pretty facade. Why is he even this pretty, Hector wonders.

"Let's go Becks" he says while grabbing onto her wrist and leading her down the corridor. Jim follows behind closely and giggles with Rebecca from time to time. This is already starting to be an annoying evening.
