A/N: Hey guys, sorry It's been a while, I was out of town. To make it up I did an extra long update, enjoy.

"So, you like raisins?" She nods, "How would you feel about a date?" I ask, all I can think is 'I totally blew it.'  I look at Alessandra, waiting on an answer, my nerves are driving me crazy. "How does tomorrow afternoon sound?"

"I get it, it was all really quick and-" I stop realizing what she just said. "Wait you said yes? OH! Um how about we meet here?" I say feeling like an idiot, she just smiles. "Cool, how does two sound?" I smile and nod awkwardly, I open my mouth to speak but a hand grabs my shoulder and pulls me away. "I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW!" I yell over my shoulder, suddenly whoever is dragging me stops. I turn around to see Mirabel standing and catching her breath. "Mirabeeel! Why did you do that?" She looks at me, and huffs. "Your dad had a prophecy before he left and you're gonna help me find it." She says confidently, I sigh. "And we have to go now?" I ask, she nods. "Come on!" She says dragging me to Casita, I look back at the market.

On our way to papi's door, we sneak past Isabela and Abuela . "Such a perfect match." She tells Isabela, who puts on a fake smile. "So perfect." She says, I want to go hug her. "And so good for the Encanto." Abuela says, I wish she could see past her own intentions. We sneak past the two and reach papi's door. Noone's been in there for years. Mirabel shoves open Bruno's door, revealing a dark room. In front of us, sand spills in from above,it's like a veil of sand. We can't see anything that's behind it. " Casita, can you turn off the sand?" Mirabel asks, nothing happens. Mirabel looks back where she can see thefloor tiles, which move as if to say 'I can't help you here' "You can't help in here?" She asks, the tiles clack in a worried manner. "Casita cant affect our rooms." I inform Mirabel, she turns back to the door. "I'll be fine. I need to do this, for you, for Abuela... maybe alittle for me." She looks at the sand with determination. "Find the vision, save the mir-ack!" As Mirabel steps through the falling sand she...falls. I tiptoe forward and fall as well.

I fall face first and slide down a giant sand dune.I looks up to see my dad's towering room and Mirabel, covered in sand."Whoa"I look around and see a sign reading: "Your Future Awaits" it points to the top of the cavern. Mirabel and I look up and see hundreds of stairs that lead allthe way up. As Mirabel looks up Antonio's toucan flaps down next to her. It seems to smile and squawks a greeting. "Oh, hello." She looks at me. "Lotta stairs, butat least we'll have a friend-" The toucan flies away, I giggle a little. "Nope, you flew away immediately." She says, she looks back at me. "At least we still have each other we begin to climb the stairs.

We climb about half-way up, Mirabel has been singing the 'family Madrigal' song that she sings to the kids. She turns and looks at me, I'm barely sweating. "How?" She says out of breath, I shrug. "After racing Luisa up the mountain a few times, this is nothing." I reply, she groans. "You would think there'd be another way to get so high cause we're magic, but no -- magical, how many stairs fit in here!" She looks at the sky. "Bruno, your room is the worst!"

Later, we finally get to the top of the stairs, only to find there is a gap in the path. She groans, exhausted. "Come on..." She groans, Mirabel takes a breath... then removes a rope railing on and throws it over a boulder above as an anchor. "Mirabel, I-" She cuts me off "It's okay, I can do this." Mirabel goes to swing across, slips, loses her balance, but... somehow makes it across. Stunned she succeeded, Mirabel pumps her fists "Wooooo!" I smile and use my gift to levitate me across. "WHAT!" Mirabel says, I shake my head a little. "I did try to tell you, but as I recall, 'It's okay, you can do this.'" Mirabel stamps her foot as a little tantrum, but as Mirabel stomps her foot, the ledge below her cracks and plummets to the ground, nearly taking her with it. She looks to the toucan and then me. "And that's why we don't throw tantrums. I say, Mirabel turns to the entrance of papi's 'temple.'
