A lovers Nightmare

Chapter one: The Final Lair

Christine is terrified for her angel of music is about to kill Roul her Fiance, she knows the only way to calm him down is to sing for him so she did to get his attention, "the tears i might have shed for your dark fate, grow cold and turn to tears of hate." the hurt overcame his eyes as he took a step back for his angel hates him. "please, christine i did all i could to save you" Roul pleaded which makes Erik become angry and grabs christine by her throat making sure not to choke her "you've past the point of no return" he cries while letting go and falling to the ground. Christine carries on singing to Erik, "Angel of music who deserves this, why do you curse mercy, angel of music you deceived me, i gave my mind blindly" Erik was distraught to hear her say this to him, he turns to look at her face to see she is frightened and tired. "make your choice" he hisses he stands up and looks away "she will never choose you" he thought to himself. "pityful creature of darkness what kind of life have you known" Christine starts to sing as she starts to stand while tears are flowing out of Eriks eyes and onto his deformed cheek, "god give me courage to show you, you are not alone" Christine spins him around and kisses him to show him compassion to let Roul go but she is overcome with a raw emotion she has never felt before not even with roul she breaks the kiss and hugs Erik "oh my god i love him" she thought to herself, Erik is shocked by this her angelic lips on his deformed ones rould couldnt do anything but look away he becomes very angry at Christine. she decides to kiss him again but this time with more passion Erik knew he will never have her at this point so he embraces her body for once and the only time, he then breaks the kiss as he hears the mob coming louder as closer, he realeses Roul and screams for them to leave "go now promise me youll never tell of this ANGEL IN HELL" he collapsed to the floor in despair as he sees Roul running of dragging Christine behind him, he waits on the ground for the mob to find him,

Roul and Christine makes it to the boat and the anger Roul has escapes him and he slaps Christine round the face "you stupid little girl why did you kiss that hell spawn demon" he screams at her Christine then realised she made a huge mistake and as they were about to hop onto the boat she says "wait i have to go back" "what, why?" Roul snaps she looks to her left hand and roul follows to see she still has the ring on "go but be quick, oh help me god i will make sure you will regret being born" he says reluctlently.

Christine then runs as fast as she can but the dress Erik forced her into is very heavy so it slows her down. she finally reaches the lair to find Erik on the ground crying, which makes her tear up, Erik hears her sniff and looks up to see his angel standing there, he jumps to his feet and chrisntine starts to sob but doesnt know what to say "Christine, i love you" Erik sings softly to her, she walks over to him takes his hands and gently sing "say youll share with me one love one lifetime" they look into each others eyes both feeled with tears and Erik sings "say the word and i will follow you" "share each day with me each night each morning" they carry on  they loose themselve in eac others eyes but the silence is interupted when they hear heavy footprints and Roul "Christine" he shouts "oh no roul, Quick Erik we must leave now before he finds us" she says alarmed, "what" Erik answers surprised Chrisitne smiles and kisses him quickly and whisoers "i choose you my angel" "now lets go before roul takes me away from you again" she screams.

Erik takes Christines hand and leads her down a tunnel until they reach the back of the opera populaire they see a carriage already waiting for them, they hurried in and Erik gave the man directions to where they were going, "where are we going" Christine asks Erik "to the ferries, we will leave for new yourk immediatly" he answers "new york but what about my father i cant just leave him" she cries "angel its the only way i can be sure you will be safe with me, we will come back when this whole thing dies down i promise" he assures her, with that they start there journey to the the ferries which was quite short, they hopped onto the ferry and  payed for a private room with a kitchen and onsuite bathroom for it takes two days to get to america. they settle on the couch when Christine realises they have no money or clothes "Erik wat are we going to do about clothes" she asks "theres a shop on board we can go and buy some clothes there for now and then we will buy some more when we get to new york" he assures her "and what about a place to live, food, how are we going to survive" she questions him "hush now my angel i already have an apartment there and i have money to last us a lifetime" he reassures her. after a while christine becomes tired and falls asleep in Eriks arms, so he picks her up and lays her down on the bed he crouches down to her face and gently strokes her hair and silently sings "you alone can make my song tak flight, its over now the music of the night" he kisses her soft head and lies down on the sofa trying to fall asleep...

A/N how was the first chapter, theres alot of things hapening in this story and its my first phantom fanfic i hope you enjoy.
