CH-56... It's a girl

8 Months Later........

"Push...come-on, a little bit more".. The doctor was constantly telling Sarah to try harder.

Her face was filled with beads of sweat and she was crying in pain. She was not able to bear the pain anymore.

"I can't... "... Sarah let a low cry....

"It's coming, a little more Mrs. Anderson.."... The nurses were constantly encouraging Sarah...

Sarah cried in pain the whole operation room was filled with her screams, it was like her whole body was breaking into pieces...too painful....

"Why don't you go inside, Mr. Anderson?"..

The nurse was annoyed by Calvin's impatient behavior. He was her husband afterall, instead of moving back and forth outside the room. He can go inside and watch, can't he?...

Calvin eyes grew dark when he heard the nurse annoyed tone but soon he was dragged by Sarah's screams from inside.
He also wanted to be near Sarah at this time. But, he stopped himself. He can't watch her crying in pain... And Sarah too had warned him not to come inside.
He punched the wall in frustration.....when...

"Aahhhhhhhhh"....
Sarah cried louder and soon a child's crying was heard along side Sarah's loud cry.

"Congratulations, Mrs Anderson. It's a girl".. The nurse brought the little child covered in blood close to Sarah and went out to bath the new born.

Sarah looked at the tiny figure figure disappearing from her sight. Her eyes became watery due to the happiness she was feeling inside her.

Her whole body relaxed and few minutes after she fainted due to the exhaustion.

"You are now a father, Mr. Anderson. Congratulations, it's a girl."... A nurse flung the door open and went towards Calvin who was already distressed like hell waiting outside.

He finally heaved a sigh when he saw a tiny figure in the nurse's arm, wrapped in a white clean clothes. His lips raised upwards and made a perfect smile.

The nurse eyes twitched for a second. AHHH... He is so handsome....Soon she shook her head in embrassment.

Calvin stood close to the child but he dint had the courage to lift her thinking he might hurt her.

He took the child in his embrace and felt a very different emotions surging deep from his heart. It was soft and tender. He gave a very satisfied smile.....

The nurse took the child again from him to go with the further procedures.

"How is my wife?"... Calvin eyes were full of anxiety.

"She is fine".. The nurse nodded and left.

Soon Sarah was pulled out from the operation theatre. Calvin immediately grabbed Sarah's hand with one of his hand and other one caressed her face.

Sarah was unconscious at that moment. Seeing her exhausted pale face, Calvin's heart melted. He followed them towards the VVIP ward, he had booked before.

After nearly 6 hours later Sarah slowly opened her eyes... She tried to speak but due to weakness she only moved her lips which were dry from thrist.

Calvin who was sitting right beside her saw the scene and immediately stood up and pour a glass of water for her.

"Easy... Drink slowly." Calvin just lifted her head and spoon feeded her.

Sarah felt her whole body was aching due to an unbearable pain which she was never aware of. She slowly sipped the water spoon by spoon, soon her throat became soft and caught a life.
