12 - Uneasy

Ally's P.O.V.

Concentrating in class this morning was the hardest thing ever when Jungkook was constantly sending me messages about how he's spending his time in New York.

It's been five minutes since I last checked my phone and so far I've gotten 11 messages from him. Once my teacher turns around to write something on the board, I take the chance to check my phone. As I scroll through all the pictures that he has sent me and I can't help but be consumed with envy.

New York looked so beautiful and now I wished that I was there. As I looked at the last picture that he sent me, I couldn't help but smile as it was a selfie of him with a cute filter while making a heart with his fingers. This was a little too much for me as I felt my heart fill with joy as I saw his adorable smile.

I quickly put my phone away once I heard my teacher start to talk, but for some reason I was no longer paying attention.

Once break rolled around, I couldn't help but be excited to check my phone. But quickly, I was shocked to see how many messages he had sent me in the past 35 mins.

They were mainly pictures and some random texts telling me how much he misses me and all the places that he would take me next time when he comes with me.

Again, I couldn't contain my stupid smile, but tried hard to surpresse it as there were still some people in the classroom.

"Ally!"

Quickly turning around in my seat, I see Nari signaling at me to come over. Without hesitating, I stand up from my seat and head over to her, leaving my phone on my desk.

Bella's P.O.V.

"Ugh! My hands are so dry!" Aria whines.

"Why don't you just put on some lotion?" Sunny asks.

"I left it at my dorm."

"I have some in my bag, I can go get it real quick."

Putting a couple more chips in my mouth, I stand up and lightly jog to the classroom where I left my bag. As I'm about to enter the classroom, I stop dead in my tracks after coming to find Seung-mi standing at Ally's desk.

Since she had her back towards me, I couldn't see exactly what she was doing, so quietly, I started walking towards her. As I got close to her, I was able to see that she was holding something in her hand.

It seemed like a phone.

At that moment, my mind starts thinking back about how Ally didn't bring her phone with her when we went to go get food since she was looking everywhere for it.

I tried to get closer to her and was able to see that the phone she was holding was Ally's.

"What're you doing?"

She quickly turns around while still holding her phone as she just smiles at me.

She was startled.

"You scared me."

My eyes go directly toward the phone and I'm guessing she noticed as I saw her suddenly get tensed up.

"I was going to give this to Ally since her phone kept going off."

She kept smiling at me as if she's trying to convince me with what she just said, but I couldn't help but look at her suspiciously.

She was lying. She was holding her phone for way too long for her to say that she was going to go give it to her.

A wave of laughter coming from outside the classroom suddenly gets louder by the second and Seung-mi breaks contact with me and looks towards the door.

"What's going on?"

Ally's P.O.V.

There was a weird atmosphere in the room the second Nari and I walked in. I couldn't help but look back and forth between Seung-Mi and Bella who strangely had a very serious expression on her, which was rare. Seung-mi, all of a sudden, starts walking towards me.

"Your phone kept on going off while I was trying to study and it was distracting me. I was just about to go give it to you."

She then holds out my phone to which I take and find a bunch of messages from Jungkook. My eyes widen in shock as I feel anxiety start to creep inside me.

I look up at her to find her smiling brightly at me. Maybe a little too brightly. It felt kind of eerie in a way.

She seemed like she was in a good mood.

"Thanks." I give her a small smile as I try to calm myself down and my racing thoughts.

I had Jungkook saved under his name with a bunny emoji. Anyone smart enough would have been able to figure it out if they paid close attention to it.

Mentally cursing at myself for the obvious name I saved him under, I couldn't help but wonder if she had caught on. I couldn't help but wonder if she saw the previews of the messages on my Lock Screen.

I couldn't help but wonder if in one of those previews, she saw the pictures that Jungkook was sending.

Looking back at Bella, she still continues to have a serious expression on her that seemed to not leave anytime soon as she also glared at Seung-mi's back.

Seeing her holding my phone and her smile, made me feel something that I only ever felt when I would go out with Jungkook. It was the feeling that I hated and that he has come to hate as well. But what made it even worse was that it was coming from Seung-mi.

For the first time, I felt uneasy around her.

A/N

Now before y'all get mad at me for being gone for 5 weeks, let me just say that I was working on the plot of the story and add a few more details. So pls don't kill me hehe...

But I finally posted so here you guys go!

Since I've been gone for 5 weeks, I'll be posting 5 chapters to make it up!
