32 - I'm Really Sorry

Jungkook's P.O.V.

I was sitting in the lounge, anxiously waiting for Ally to answer me back. She didn't text me at all yesterday, but I thought that maybe she just spent the whole day sleeping as she usually does on her days off.

This morning, I texted her as soon as I woke up so that way she could see it during her break, which should be right about now. I waited and waited and waited, but she didn't end up reading it.

That's strange...

She usually always texts me during her break. Just as I was about to call her, I see Namjoon hyung walk in.

"Rrrrap monsterrrr!"

"Aish...when will you ever stop calling me that?"

"Never." I laugh at him as he closes his eyes and hangs his head in defeat.

"We better get started on practicing the dance for that new song, so lets go."

I take one last look at my phone to see if she had at least read my text, but nothing. Maybe she was really busy today. I'll just catch her later when I sneak up to the floor she's on.

Taehyung's P.O.V.

"I can't wait to hear Ally sing!"

Today, I was so excited because I would be helping out on the evaluations on the trainees' vocals with Jin and Hoseok hyung. But really, I was mostly looking forward to listening to Ally since I know she's been working very hard.

"Me too, I heard her practicing the other day and she's gotten even better. I was blown away!" Hoseok hyung comments.

As we three continue to talk about Ally, we suddenly stop as we hear Bang PD clear his throat really loudly. We all turn our heads to look at him.

"You should probably drink some water to get that mucus out of your throat. Allergy season this year is hitting pretty bad."

"Thank you, Jin, for your concern, but I can assure you that I have my allergies under control."

"Then why the loud cough?" I ask.

"I couldn't help, but to overhear the conversation that you three were having."

"Oh. About Ally? Yea, we're just looking forward to seeing her progress."

"Unfortunately, Ally will not be joining us today."

"What? Why? Is she still not feeling better from the incident?" Suddenly, I started to panic a bit if that was the case.

"She's a lot better now, so don't worry about that."

"Then why is she not participating?"

"This morning I received a letter from her expressing her desire to quit and terminate her contract."

The mood and the atmosphere in the room changed. We all looked at each other in shock as we couldn't believe what we were hearing.

"Are you sure that it was from Ally? Maybe you read the name by mistake."

"It was definitely, Ally. I even had to double check as I was surprised as well. But there's nothing that we can do now. It's sad to see such amazing talent disappear."

I sit in my seat trying to think of why Ally would just quit out of nowhere. Taking out my phone, I send her a text asking why she quit so suddenly and why she didn't tell me before hand. This was definitely not something that she would do out of the blue.
